Your Impact
You will be a key leader within the Enterprise team at Axon. This is a Senior Account Executive role on a \"startup\" within Axon where we'll move fast, win our earliest customers in verticals outside of public safety, and build repeatable sales motions and successful partners.
Commercial partnerships are key to the Enterprise effort at Axon and the Senior Account Executive will be responsible for selling our products and services directly and indirectly to the earliest customers across retail, healthcare, private security, casinos, critical infrastructure, rail and logistics. At the same time, you will be working closely with the GM - Enterprise on building the Enterprise go-to-market design and team. This is a quota carrying position. Ability to think creatively, articulate complex solutions, build and maintain senior level relationships, navigate across large integrators and Fortune 500 accounts, and lead the Axon team to success is required. The position provides technical and administrative product information, demonstrations, and/or product training.

Location: Remotely from the United States. Must live within an hour of a major airport and on the road 50% of time.
What You'll Do
* Own and build our earliest and largest sales to customers in new verticals at Axon
* Manage and grow revenue and market share to achieve Axon's strategic objectives
* Build business plans with internal and external stakeholders to drive Axon adoption
* Execute sales training and provide marketing support
* Develop and maintain client and partner relationships to ultimately drive revenue growth
What You Bring
* At least 7+ years working in sales and/or channel for a technology company preferably in software, SaaS, cloud, collaboration
* Track record of sales and channel sales success
* Experience with executive level engagements and communication
* Experience with large VAR's and Systems Integrators
* Startup experience preferred
* Open to travel 50%

About the Position
Axon is seeking a highly motivated individual capable of working independently and eager to grow within our expanding company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for purchasing products based on demand and will support supply chain operations as an operations specialist.

This position offers broad exposure to brand partnerships and operational functions in the supply chain and E-commerce industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Order & Issue Management: Manage daily order processing to ensure accuracy and consistency. Troubleshoot and resolve issues such as cancellations, returns, and discrepancies promptly and professionally.
- Supplier Coordination: Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and maintain inventory levels aligned with demand.
- Vendor & Sales Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for current and prospective sales representatives, vendors, and distributors, ensuring compliance with marketplace policies and operational efficiency.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and enhance procurement, order management, and inventory workflows. Identify inefficiencies, implement improvements, and streamline operations.
- Inventory & Stock Monitoring: Collaborate with teams across departments and the warehouse to track inventory and maintain appropriate safety stock levels.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and robust controls over our SEC filings, technical accounting policies, and overall accounting and reporting processes.
We are looking for a thought leader with a unique blend of experience from both Big 4 accounting firms and industry roles within complex, large accelerated filers. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of leading transformation in fast-paced, high-growth environments, with a knack for innovation and process optimization to meet the evolving demands of our business and stakeholders.
In this role, you will not only dive into the details when necessary but also maintain a strategic outlook to steer the organization towards its long-term objectives. The successful candidate will bring a positive, energetic attitude and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.
Location: US based Axon hub sites (Atlanta, Boston, Denver, San Francisco, Scottsdale, Seattle, or Washington DC metro areas), 2 days per week in-office
What You’ll Do
- SEC Reporting:
- Lead the preparation and review of all SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy and other required filings.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial disclosures in compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX requirements.
- Partner with internal and external auditors to manage the audit and review process, ensuring high-quality reporting standards.
- Oversee the monitoring of relevant FASB projects and emerging SEC trends to ensure the company remains ahead of regulatory changes and industry developments.
- Collaborate closely with Investor Relations and Legal to provide transparent and valuable information for external investors, ensuring communications are compliant with regulatory requirements while effectively supporting business decision-making.
- Technical Accounting Policy:
- Provide leadership and oversight on complex technical accounting issues, ensuring the company's accounting and reporting policies are in compliance.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the organization on technical accounting matters, providing guidance and training to the finance team and other stakeholders.
- Lead and/or oversee the implementation of new accounting standards and assess their impact on the company’s financial statements.
- ESG Reporting:
- Partner with key functional leaders to lead the development and execution of Axon’s ESG reporting strategy, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze ESG data, ensuring the integrity and transparency of global ESG-related disclosures.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- 17+ years of relevant experience, including a mix of Big 4 public accounting and industry experience within a large, complex, and fast-growth environment.
- Experience in a National Office or in capital markets/transaction support at a Big 4 firm is highly preferred.
- Preferred experience in M&A integration and managing global consolidations.
- Deep expertise in SEC reporting, U.S. GAAP, SOX compliance, and technical accounting in key areas such as revenue recognition, business combination and stock compensation, with a strong understanding of ESG reporting frameworks.
- Proven track record of leading transformation initiatives in financial reporting and accounting functions.
- Strong track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement and build scalability.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a focus on developing talent and driving high performance.
- Exceptional communication skills and strong business acumen, with the ability to translate complex accounting concepts into plain English for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 216,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 324,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
