Role Overview
The IT Coordinator supports the day-to-day operation of the company’s technology systems and provides internal help desk support across the organization.
This role requires strong troubleshooting ability, clear communication, and a systems-oriented mindset. The IT Coordinator will help maintain user access, configure employee technology, and support core platforms such as Salesforce and Microsoft 365.
You’ll serve as a key support resource for Team Members across the company, helping resolve technical issues, maintain system reliability, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our technology environment.
This position is based in Brooksville, FL, with hybrid flexibility depending on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide help desk support and resolve internal technical issues across company systems
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and user access issues for Team Members
- Configure laptops, mobile devices, and system access for new employees prior to onboarding
- Administer and support internal platforms including Salesforce and Microsoft 365
- Maintain user permissions and system configurations across company tools & platforms
- Assist with the development and maintenance of internal documentation, SOPs, and system procedures
- Monitor recurring issues and help identify opportunities to improve system workflows and processes

Job Description
The VDC Engineer – Field Technology supports the Field Technology Superintendent and project teams by managing the office-side coordination, data processing, and distribution of field technology deliverables. This role ensures that model-to-field information (layout, QC, as-builts, reality capture) is accurate, organized, and delivered on time—and that field-collected data is processed and returned to stakeholders in a usable format to support seamless, technology-driven construction execution.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track field technology deliverables across projects, including layout files, QC reports, scan data, control documentation, and reality capture outputs.
- Prepare and package model-to-field deliverables per Flint standards, including exports, control files, and CAD documentation for distribution to field teams and trade partners.
- Process survey, layout, and scanning data using industry-standard software; produce reports, exhibits, and deliverables that meet project expectations and turnaround requirements.
- Support reality capture workflows (scanning, photogrammetry, drone data, progress platforms) by managing uploads, processing, organization, and delivery of outputs.
- Maintain document control and version management in ACC and Revizto; support issue tracking and field discrepancy resolution workflows.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of field technology standards, templates, checklists, and branded deliverables.
- Support administrative coordination for field technology operations, including software licensing, equipment tracking, vendor communication, and scheduling.

- Education: B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, Geomatics/Surveying, BIM/VDC, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2–5+ years in VDC/BIM coordination, field technology support, survey/layout workflows, or reality capture processing in construction.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in construction technology platforms including ACC, Revizto, CAD (AutoCAD, Civil 3D), Revit, survey/layout software (Trimble Business Center, Leica Infinity, Leica Cyclone), and reality capture tools (Cupix, OpenSpace, or similar).
- Highly Organized: Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Hands-on experience modernizing data ecosystems, including migrating from legacy on-premise platforms to modern cloud-native or hybrid cloud architectures.
Deep expertise with major cloud platforms and their data/analytics stacks, including implementation experience with:
AWS (e.g., Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Athena, Lake Formation, Bedrock, SageMaker)
Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks on Azure, Fabric, Cognitive Services)

About The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering
The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering is a department within the College of Engineering at Georgia Tech and the School of Medicine at Emory University. Our community includes a student body of ~1,200 undergraduates and ~400 graduate students as well as more than 150 faculty and staff. One of the largest BME programs in the US, we graduate the most URM and Female biomedical engineers in the country. The BME department currently employs about 90 total faculty, including 5 Academic Professional track faculty, 10 Lecturer track faculty, and 5 Professors of the Practice.
Since the departments founding in 2000 the unique partnership between two of the nation's leading public and private entities has been an engine for innovative research and education. We are focused on solving some of the toughest problems facing our state, the nation, and the world and improving human health. The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering is hiring for an Academic Faculty (Academic Professional Track) position titled Director of Learning Innovation (DLI). A position of this type, with slightly varying titles, throughout the history of the department by 5 different people. Success in this position involves achieving three objectives: (1) Foster a culture of evidence-based teaching practices and curricular innovation, (2) improve our understanding of engineering education using educational research methods, and (3) build the national profile of the department as a leader in biomedical engineering education. We expect the focus of work in this role to be primarily the department's top ranked undergraduate program, but engaging with the graduate program may also be possible or needed. We estimate the breakdown of the Director of Learning Innovation to be approximately 15% research; 35% administration; 30% teaching and 20% service, detailed below.
Responsibilities
TEACHING (30%)
We expect the DLI's teaching responsibility to be serving as the course director for Problems in Biomedical Engineering (BMED2250). BMED2250, typically taken undergraduate's second year, uses a Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach to guide students through the development of potential solutions to a broad single-disease-focused design challenge. A similar course has been a cornerstone of the department's undergraduate curriculum since its establishment and are described in work by Newstetter (2006). The course is offered during Fall and Spring semesters and enrolls around 150 students per semester in 5 to 6 `studio sections with a weekly lecture. Critically, the course also serves to enculturate faculty to the department's philosophy of teaching. The course director is responsible for overall coordination of course instruction, managing the lecture portion of the class, training TAs and Faculty facilitators, and typically facilitating 1 studio section. Depending on the candidates background and interests, other teaching assignments may be possible.
ADMINISTATION (35%)
Achieving the three objectives for the DLI position will require the candidate to integrate curricular leadership and educational research. As a departmental leader, the DLI is responsible for identifying and guiding opportunities for curricular improvements, especially through the translation of leading educational research. They will also mentor individual faculty throughout the department about teaching, evidence-based teaching, and Scholarship of Teaching and Learning research. To do so, the DLI will work closely with other leaders in the department, TT and NTT faculty, and the Director of Faculty and Student Training.
RESEARCH (15%)
The DLI will also be expected to engage in research and research dissemination. A major focus of that work is likely to be scholarship related to their innovation work. However, they are encouraged to pursue related research independent of active innovation projects as well. Successful candidates will be those that look for both traditional and novel opportunities for scholarly dissemination. We have a special interest in candidates who can build strong relationships to share research results and promote our innovation work across Georgia Tech, biomedical engineering, and engineering education. The DLI will be encouraged to pursue external funding both to support programmatic change efforts and their own research. The department has a history of receiving funding from NIH, NSF, and KEEN to support programmatic curricular change efforts.
SERVICE (20%)
All department faculty are assigned to one to two departmental committees. It is expected that the DLI will be routinely assigned as a member of the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee and/or the departments Faculty Learning Committee (a yearly community of practice faculty development opportunity). The DLI will also be encouraged to pursue opportunities for professional service.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with undergraduate teaching, especially in engineering courses.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be physically able to balance, bend, climb, crawl, crouch, kneel, reach, sit, squat, stand, twist, and walk.
Ability to mentally concentrate while being subject to interruptions and changing work priorities.
Must be able to work and follow OSHA guidelines while in a hazardous environment(s) such as electrocution potentials, mechanical energies, bloodborne/airborne pathogens, dust and inclement weather, marked changes in temperature and/or humidity, radiation, fumes/vapors, sharp instruments/tools, hazardous liquids, and operating devices
Must be able to hear speech, distinguish sounds, and speak.
Must have near vision, far vision, depth perception, and be able to distinguish colors.
Must have sensory ability to distinguish hot, cold, range of temperature, surfaces, fine motor skills, manual dexterity, and detect/distinguish odors.
Must be able to carry or lift up to 50 pounds routinely (50% of the time) and on occasion (5% of the time) up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to push or pull over 100 pounds frequently (20% of the time).
Maintains safe working environment for self, other associates, patients, visitors, and medical staff in accordance with applicable standards and procedures relevant to job duties.
Must be able to travel to the various Trinity Health, Ministry Organizations, subsidiaries, and/or training facilities
