LOCATION: Chili, NY
SCHEDULE: 7pm - 7am on 2-2-3 schedule
SUMMARY: Identifies and segregates defective material within individual slit rolls. Combines leftover good material into finished rolls and palletizes for shipment to the customer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Facilitate on the job training and instruction for team members on the correct use of tools and equipment to ensure proper safety and operating procedures are followed.
- Mounts slit rolls of product onto shaft of machine using lift cart. Removes rolls as well.
- Sets up and makes necessary adjustments to the machine.
- Must be able to identify defects and splice good material together per spec.
- Reads and understands specs of products being run. Must know packaging materials required for palletizing finished product also. Occasionally uses hand tools to prepare packaging materials.
- Completes daily production reports.
- Operates stretch wrap machine to wrap finished pallets.
- Regularly cleans machine and surrounding area.
- Actively participates in safety programs and makes safety observations. Follows plant safety rules.
- Other duties as assigned.

What you'll be doing:
Warehouse material handlers' essential duties are to perform various tasks in the warehouse such as but not limited to:
- Inbound: Unload trucks, trailers, containers of freight, counting products, compare to manifest to check all shipments for damage, infestation, or production code dates. Material handlers must report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments on appropriate forms. Also be able to sign for inbound shipments when necessary. All inbound shipments are moved safely to storage locations to be efficiently stacked as store merchandise.
- Order Picking: Ensure that the correct product number, quantity and type (lot, batch, serial number) of product are picked. Transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment such as but not limited to fork trucks, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks. Materials handlers must be able to label, stencil, tag, mark orders, band, bundle, wrap, over-pack, and palletize as required.
- Outbound: Compare quantity, labeling and address with order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct. Assign signature for outbound as necessary. Efficiently move products, cartons and or pallets into trailers, rail cars or containers.
- Equipment: Maintain equipment in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. Operate equipment safely and efficiently. Comply with company standards and OSHA requirements.
- Inventory: Keep accurate records and reports. Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts. Ensure proper stock rotation. May key inventory adjustments in computer.
- Other Duties: Repack or re-box cases per customer instructions. Repair and consolidate damaged goods as required. Operate shrink-wrap machine. Charge forklift battery as needed; stack and or separate good from bad pallets when necessary; clean railcars, trailers, and truck docks, bays as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Proficient with all material handling and packaging devices including forklifts, pallet jacks and banding tools.
- The ability to understand and follow plant safety rules, such as wearing required PPE (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, and gloves)
- Able to prioritize tasks and anticipate needs in order to effectively manage time in order to accomplish all tasks.
- Ability to perform other related tasks as assigned.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Lead Chocolatier & Product Development Manager to lead all aspects of confectionery creation and quality at Seroogy’s Chocolates. This role safeguards our signature recipes, oversees chocolate and ingredient ordering, ensures consistent product quality, and develops new seasonal and year-round products.
This position blends technical expertise, creativity, and a passion for traditional small-batch methods. You’ll collaborate closely with our Production Manager, Retail Manager, and company leadership to maintain the excellence our customers expect, while also shaping the next generation of Seroogy’s products.
Key Responsibilities
Recipe Stewardship & Production Oversight
- Maintain and consistently execute Seroogy’s established recipes, processes, and product standards.
- Train and support team members in confectionery techniques and product specifications.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert for chocolate tempering, caramelization, enrobing, panning, and other confectionery methods.
- Partner with the Production Manager to ensure daily production runs meet quality, yield, and efficiency goals.
Technical Expertise & Equipment Mastery
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of confectionery and chocolate production equipment, including: melters, tempering machines, enrobers, copper kettles/stoves, batch cookers, cooling tables, depositors, cutters, panners, wrapping machines, and other specialized tools.
- Ensure equipment is used safely, efficiently, and in alignment with Seroogy’s product standards.
- Evaluate and introduce new equipment, technologies, or processes that increase quality and productivity without compromising craftsmanship or tradition.
- Work closely with the Production Manager to optimize workflows, implement improvements, and ensure smooth integration of new processes into daily operations.
Product Development & Innovation

- Research emerging confectionery trends, ingredients, and technologies to inspire new ideas.

Quality Control
- Oversee product quality from raw ingredients to finished goods.

Qualifications
Required
- 3–7+ years of professional experience in confectionery, chocolate production, pastry, or food manufacturing.
- Demonstrated expertise in chocolate work (tempering, molding, enrobing, hand-dipping) and at least three major confection types (caramel, creams, truffles, barks, brittles, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with key confectionery and chocolate equipment: melters, tempering machines, enrobers, copper kettles/stoves, batch cookers, cooling tables, depositors, wrapping machines, and related production tools.
- Strong technical understanding of chocolate crystallization, viscosity, batch scaling, and the variables that impact product quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment, identify process improvements, and introduce new methods or tools while preserving product quality.
- Ability to manage complex projects and timelines.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards, allergens, and manufacturing best practices.

Position Scope
The Maintenance Manager oversees maintenance for food and beverage packaging equipment, material handling equipment, conveyance systems, electrical systems, HVAC, and overall facility infrastructure within a fast‑paced supply chain environment.
You’ll ensure equipment reliability, safety, and uptime while leading a team that supports daily operations through preventive maintenance, rapid response, and process improvement initiatives.
Success requires strong technical understanding, high accountability, and the ability to mentor technicians while collaborating cross‑functionally.
Required Background
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager within food and beverage manufacturing or co‑packing
- Experience supporting environments producing consumable goods for retail/grocery distribution
- Hands‑on foundation with packaging technologies, including:
- Vertical form‑fill‑seal
- Horizontal flow‑wrap
- Case erecting
- Stretch wrapping
- Automated case packing
- Experience managing multi‑shift maintenance teams
- Strong CMMS proficiency, especially in preventive maintenance planning
- Solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in regulated food environments
- Knowledge of GMPs, OSHA standards, and audit‑driven operations

The Opportunity
We are a premier, vertically integrated Developer/Builder seeking an elite executive to lead our regional field operations. As the Regional Director of Construction, you will serve as the ultimate authority on project execution, safety, and quality across our high-density Midwest portfolio.
This is a high-impact leadership role designed for a "Field General" who has mastered the complexities of large-scale construction and is ready to oversee a regional portfolio from an owner's perspective.
The Portfolio: "Big Building" & Podium Mastery
Our projects are large-scale, high-density, and technically demanding. We require an expert with a verifiable track record in:
- Complex Podium-Wrap: Mastery of Type III over Type I (concrete-to-wood) high-density builds.
- Large-Scale Multi-Unit: Success delivering "big building" complexes (300+ units).
- Regional Oversight: Ability to lead a portfolio valued at $500M+ in active construction.
What You’ll Do
- Executive Field Leadership: Standardize best-in-class field operations and quality control across all regional project sites.
- Team Architecture: Recruit, mentor, and hold accountable a high-performing team of Project Superintendents.
- Strategic Pre-Construction: Serve as the final word on constructability, site logistics, and sequencing during the design phase.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively resolve enterprise-level risks related to labor markets and supply chain.
- Efficiency & Logistics: Leverage elite transportation and logistics support to maintain high-frequency oversight of regional job sites without the traditional travel burnout.
The Requirements
- 20+ Years in Construction Leadership with a specific focus on Large-Scale Multifamily.
- Podium Authority: Recognized industry expert in Podium-Wrap and high-density builds.
- Systems Mindset: You build the systems and cultures that allow projects to succeed at scale.
- Executive Presence: Ability to command respect on the job site and provide strategic value to ownership.
- Tech Mastery: Expert proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and enterprise scheduling tools.
Job Description
Collect, sort, count, verify, and wrap coins, cash, and gaming chips. Maintain accurate records in accordance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Sort contents of drop boxes by denomination in cash, coins and chips
- Sort, count and wrap coins using various machines.
- Count, verify and record games revenue.
- Properly document markers.
- Performs computer input
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Prior count room experience preferred
- Able to operate electric cart and money counters
- Must be detail-oriented
- Other physical requirements of the job that must be performed with or without a reasonable accommodation include stooping, reaching, pulling, standing, sitting, standing and walking, heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. and use of repetitive motions
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulation
