What You Will Do
In this Systems Engineer role, you may support some of the following types of activities:
Core Systems Engineering: Update, maintain, and improve requirements. Develop system architecture and model using Model Based Systems Engineering. Conduct trade studies based on Concept of Operations. Collaborate with engineers of all disciplines.
Perform Test Planning: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments and perform/execute the testing
Integrate Systems: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact. Evaluate test results for requirements compliance.
Create/modify documentation in support of design reviews and in preparation for test events.
Perform Platform Integration, Flight Test, Qualification, Design Verification Execution
Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
Perform Data Analysis: Conduct statistical and numerical analysis test data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.
Support Missions: Travel as needed to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience.
Experience with systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.
Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

The Lead Systems Engineer (LSE) will be responsible for supporting the development,
integration, test, and verification of a variety of new and/or modified systems for a
missionized Gulfstream G550 platform. The LSE will require working knowledge of
encrypted communications, flight deck missionization, Emissions Control (EMCON), and
Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT). The LSE will be responsible for requirements
development and management, technical risk identification, system design, system
Integration, Verification and Validation (IV&V), civil and military certification, and
liaison troubleshooting and sustainment efforts.
The LSE will support large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with tools used for vulnerability assessment and compliance scanning such as Tenable/ACAS, ManageEngine Endpoint Central, or equivalent tools.
Knowledge of vulnerability remediation strategies is to address and mitigate security threats.
Experience with automation tools is highly valued, especially for streamlining IT processes and reducing manual intervention.
Strong skills in configuring and maintaining DHCP and DNS.
Proficiency in Exchange (on-premises) for managing corporate email systems.
Proficiency in Group Policy Management for enforcing security policies and user configurations across the organization.
Proficiency in managing virtualized infrastructures such as VMWare/Hyper-V/Nutanix is sought for efficient server and workload management.

REQUIREMENTS -- EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE Associates or higher degree in Computer/Information Technology, or equivalent academic/technical training.
Possess seven (7) years related experience or combination of experience in computer system basics and/or related areas of expertise.
Must possess and apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in computer science, graphics, and information systems.
In addition, a Systems Administrator III must possess the following qualifications: Expertise with Windows Server (2016 or later) and/or Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Debian, or Red Hat.
