Parkview Regional Medical Center (PRMC) is accepting applications for a clinical pharmacy specialist in neonatal intensive care.
Position Details: The clinical specialist will join an on-site faculty member to provide direct patient care in the Parkview Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
In preparation for pediatric service line growth and changes, continued pharmacy expertise is needed in this area.
Currently this location is undergoing many facility updates (room renewal, expansion, and technology updates) along with an expansion of care for pediatric gastroenterology, endocrinology, cardiology, and hematology/oncology specialist services.
Parkview Health has been a collaborator partner with Cincinnati Children’s for overall a decade to improve the health and outcomes for children in our region.
This collaboration is now enhancing to bring neurosurgery, rheumatology, and drug-resistant epilepsy consultation services with telehealth clinics with world-class providers.
As part of an established pediatric pharmacy program, this specialist will benefit from close relationships with physicians and other care providers in both the inpatient and outpatient pediatric settings.
Parkview Health has provided specialty pharmacy services in pediatrics for over 25 years and are continually being asked to expand into additional responsibilities.
This role will have a targeted role in the level III neonatal intensive care unit with additional coverage of other pediatrics areas for weekend pediatrics coverage.
The role is a full-time, 1.0 FTE in the NICU with every 4th weekend for pediatric staffing to provide advanced and uninterrupted levels of care to this patient population .
This pharmacist will participate in collaborative rounding and consult management daily, weekly disposition rounds, pharmacy-based projects, multidisciplinary committees, and will precept student pharmacists and pharmacy residents.

Genitourinary Reconstruction Urologist P
osition
The Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care at The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School in conjunction with the Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas are recruiting a Urologist with fellowship training in Genito-Urinary Reconstruction to join our team as an Assistant, Associate or full Professor. We seek individuals with excellent clinical skills, a passion for education, potential for scholarly contributions, and commitment to excellence.
The faculty member will be an integral part of the rapidly expanding urology practice. The current urologic service at Dell Medical School is composed of a specialist in minimally invasive surgery / endourology and two urologist oncologists. A urologist specializing in genitourinary reconstruction who had developed a large referral practice recently left the organization. There is an opportunity to maintain and build further this genitourinary reconstruction practice. The individual should have interest in continuing to evolve and expand an ambitious urology practice that is the primary practice for un-insured and under-insured patients in Travis County, but also cares for patients referred from other urologists locally and regionally. Of note, Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas, where the surgical practice is primarily located, is home to plastic surgeons, colorectal surgeons and gynecologists who often collaborate in care of patients with genitourinary reconstruction needs.
Essential Functions
:
Serve as a clinical content expert on genitourinary reconstruction for Dell Medical School and Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas.
Evolve and expand the genitourinary reconstruction program within Dell Medical School’s Health Transformation Building and other sites of service.
Assist in the training and management of a new clinical team.
Participate in strategic planning and other efforts directly tied to the development and growth of the genitourinary reconstruction practice.
Assist in the creation of a data and evaluation infrastructure for regularly assessing the clinical quality and cost outcomes for patients with genitourinary reconstruction needs.
Develop partnerships with referring physicians, hospitals, and ancillary providers in Austin and Central Texas.
Train and mentor medical students and residents on new models of care and clinical practice.
Participate in the development and implementation of Undergraduate and Graduate Medical Education curricula related to evaluation and management of genitourinary reconstruction.
Develop and foster an atmosphere of scientific and academic inquiry in conjunction with trainees and researchers within the multidisciplinary team.
Collaborate with other schools at The University of Texas at Austin on multidisciplinary, value-based care models
Actively participate in the academic department by all required departmental policies.

About the Chief of Vascular Surgery Position
The Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School is currently recruiting a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon to lead the Section of Vascular Surgery. Offering an exceptional opportunity, we are searching for a Chief of the Section to lead our growing team of five vascular surgeons and five advanced practice providers in a clinic-based academic program with remarkable prospects in clinical practice, research, and teaching. The ideal candidate should possess excellent clinical and technical skills, have exceptional leadership qualities, and have a collaborative approach to patient care. The Division Chief will recruit and retain faculty; manage program development and growth; build regional referral programs, set strategic direction for the division and align goals with institutional objectives.
The selected candidate will lead our expanding Vascular Surgery Division and will have the opportunity to engage in a robust clinical practice covering the full spectrum of vascular diseases. This includes complex aortic interventions, limb-salvage procedures, and comprehensive care for venous disorders. In addition to advanced endovascular and open surgical expertise, a strong track record in managing complex aortic pathology is highly desired. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Vascular Surgery and must have completed an accredited vascular surgery fellowship or integrated residency.
The role also includes significant involvement in medical student education and general surgery resident training, with active participation in GME activities expected.
Essential Functions
Provide comprehensive vascular care, including both open and endovascular procedures-across a clinical system encompassing Dell Seton Medical Center (Level I trauma center), Ascension Seton Medical Center, two suburban Level II trauma hospitals with busy vascular surgery practices, and Dell Children's Hospital.
Foster a culture that prioritizes faculty success, enhances satisfaction and retention, and supports the growth of both academic and clinical activities.
Ensure the division consistently meets or exceeds benchmarked quality standards across clinical outcomes, operational processes, patient experience, and overall quality rankings.
Deliver high-quality clinical care, participating in on-call coverage, staffing outpatient clinics, managing perioperative patients, and responding to daily consultation requests.
Demonstrate expertise in building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships, with a proven track record of collaborating effectively with academic partners, physicians, consultants, diverse management teams, and affiliated partners to implement clinical programs and advance quality initiatives.
Actively contribute to the education of medical students and general surgery residents.
Engage in clinical research, quality improvement, and scholarly activities.
Promote an environment of scientific inquiry by collaborating with trainees, researchers, and multidisciplinary colleagues within Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery.
Build and strengthen partnerships with referring physicians, hospitals, and ancillary care providers in Austin and Central Texas.
Assist in developing the data and evaluation infrastructure needed to routinely assess clinical quality metrics and patient outcomes.
Participate fully in departmental activities and comply with all departmental policies and expectations.

Required:
Medical degree from an accredited medical school;
Current Board certification in Vascular Surgery (or board eligible)

About the Thoracic and Esophageal Surgeon Position
The Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, in partnership with Ascension Texas, is seeking a full-time thoracic and esophageal surgeon to help expand a rapidly growing robotic thoracic oncology and foregut/esophageal surgery program across Austin and Central Texas. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in thoracic surgery, with demonstrated commitment to minimally invasive and robotic surgery, high-quality outcomes, and multidisciplinary cancer care.
This role is ideal for a surgeon who thrives in a high-growth academic environment and is motivated to build a regionally dominant, nationally recognized program in:
Robotic thoracic surgery (RATS)
Robotic lung cancer surgery and complex thoracic oncology
Esophageal cancer surgery and foregut disease

The thoracic and esophageal surgeon will be expected to:
Perform the full scope of general thoracic surgery, with emphasis on:
Robotic thoracic oncology
Advanced minimally invasive lung resection (including segmentectomy)
Mediastinal and pleural disease
Esophageal and foregut surgery
Provide high-level perioperative management and inpatient thoracic surgical care
Participate in on-call responsibilities consistent with divisional coverage needs
Work collaboratively within a high-functioning multidisciplinary cancer and foregut team
Participate in clinical research, outcomes research, QI initiatives, and registry development (STS/GTSD participation)

- Maintains a filing system for records, reports and other documents.
