Job Title: OFP Assembly Manufacturing Engineer

Shift: 1st Shift – 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (Overtime available between 5–8 hours when required)

Job Description:

We are seeking an OFP Assembly Manufacturing Engineer to support assembly operations for heavy equipment manufacturing. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement projects related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Lead and manage small to moderate scope capital projects.
  • Establish and maintain assembly line layouts, labor standards, methods, and sequence of operations.
  • Analyze, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for ongoing assembly operations.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction, quality improvement, safety, and ergonomic enhancement initiatives for assembly operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing processes, quality, tooling, preventative maintenance, and facilities.
  • Experience with engineering tools and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
  • Proven experience leading and implementing projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with operators, peers, and leadership.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering preferred) or equivalent related work experience.
  • Strong accountability, attention to detail, and ability to foster a positive and engaged team environment.
