Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate authorization denials/partial determinations for appealability

• Reviewing case details, payer policy, medical necessity rationale, and claim/authorization data
• Determining the most appropriate next steps

Assemble complete, defensible appeal packets

• Gathering required evidence (authorization history, eligibility/benefits support, clinical documentation/records and relevant claim details)
• Ensuring submissions are organized and meeting payer requirements

Submit appeals/reconsiderations through payer-designated channels

• Validate successful receipt/acceptance
• Rapidly correct/resubmit when submissions are rejected or incomplete

Manage an appeal work queue with strict deadline discipline

• Tracking due dates, statuses, required follow-ups and outcomes
• Preventing missed appeal windows
• Ensuring timely outcomes

Communicating proactively with stakeholders

• Clarifying documentation needs
• Coordinate next actions
• Provide clear status updates throughout the appeal lifecycle
• Document all actions in an audit-ready manner
• Ensuring complete traceability for internal review and write-off governance when applicable

Escalating complex or repeat issues

• Pushing for payer clarification/supervisor review when appropriate
• Routing patterns of denials to the correct internal owners

Coordinate and support Peer-to-Peer (P2P) reviews

• Helping to drive scheduling within required timeframes
• Capturing payer rationale from P2P interactions
• Preparing appeal documentation in parallel to avoid delays if P2P is upheld
• Perform quality reporting, audits, and trend analysis

Producing insights that support continuous improvement and denial prevention

Contribute to workflow improvements and standardization

• Updating templates/checklists
• Supporting training enablement
• Helping implement improved tracking/automation practices that strengthen compliance and reimbursement performance

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a revenue cycle role managing authorizations and appeals
• Commercial insurance and Medicaid payor experience
• Experience with Texas Medicaid and MCOs preferred
• Competency with private duty nursing and homecare services
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to evaluate authorization denials, complete appeal packets, and manage complexity with payor protocol and procedure
• Ability to work independently and be detail-oriented ensuring full management of the process
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Strong Excel skills

Raytheon is an industry leader in Stealth Technology. We are involved in all phases of development, production, and maintenance of Low Observable (LO) weapon systems. We are currently looking for Stealth / Low Observable / Radar Cross Section (RCS) / Signature Management / Survivability Engineers to work on challenging, state of the art technical projects.

We are seeking Engineers to join the Signature Management & Technology Team.  This will be onsite at our Tucson location. At Raytheon, you will be part of a team whose responsibilities span the full lifecycle of the product- from initial conceptual design to modeling and analysis, from component to missile level RCS testing, and production support to maintainability.

What You Will Do

• Stealth- design & analysis using computational electro-magnetics (CEM)

• You’re expected to perform RCS predictions and should be familiar with limitations of Computational Electromagnetic Codes (CEM). 

• Deliverables will include test documentation, data analysis, anomaly resolution, results documentation, and presentation of results to both internal and external customers. 

• You will work in integrated product teams to incorporate advanced signature control techniques into deliverable products and aid in the assessment of system performance. 

• The selected individual will document all activities pertaining to data analysis, design trades, prediction results, and others.

• You will work within integrated product teams and support all aspects of that team’s design efforts.

• Present results of testing, analysis, and design efforts to internal and external customers

• Occasional travel for business, training, and conferences

• Provide effective personal interaction and collaboration with a technical team and customers.

• Integrated Product Team (IPT) leadership

• Will provide project management including the ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs, or systems.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience

• Experience with Low Observable (LO) technology or Radar Cross Section or Computational Electromagnetic Codes (CEM)

• Experience with RCS analysis tools such as X-Patch, SENTRi, McMoM2D, FEKO, HFSS, CST or other company specific Computational Electro-Magnetics (CEM) analysis packages

• Experience with CAD software packages such as NX, CATIA, CREO

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with LO design, analysis, and validation methodologies

• Understanding of electromagnetic fundamentals

• Experience with Infrared signature analysis and control

• Programming expertise in C++, MATLAB, or other technical language is desirable

• Presentation skills and ability to communicate with peers, executives and customers

• Advanced Degree:  Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math or other Engineering discipline

The Principal Product Engineer will learn the technical aspect of key product in the Andover, MA factory.  The Product Engineer will be product centric technical liaison, focused on driving collaboration across work centers and all disciplines to resolve technical issues, improve efficiencies and optimize overall product yield to ensure high-quality and cost-effective products and systems. You will utilize data analysis, CORE methodologies, and technical understanding to maximize overall product test yield, efficiency, and value.

What You Will Do

• Address major yield and technical issues highlighted by tech leads and factory operation managers.

• Perform data analysis and provide direction for overall product yield and performance improvement.

• Facilitate collaboration across manufacturing work centers and design engineering.

• Empower production test engineer to resolve complex failures through data driven troubleshooting technique.

• Establish technical understanding of the product architecture, subassemblies, and test requirement.

• Partner with test and design engineering team to develop sustaining solution to technical problems with root cause and corrective action identification.  

• Requires direct support of manufacturing test activities and spending a large amount of time directly on the factory floor in support of a highly demanding dynamic environment.

Qualifications You Must Have  

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and typically a minimum 8 years of relevant experience

• 4+ years in Production testing/troubleshooting

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

• Preferred majors: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering Technology

• The ability to interpret and analyzer RF parametric data

• Experience with lean principles in a manufacturing environment

• Current DOD Secret Security Clearance

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills

• Good interpersonal skills to manage tasks that bridge operations, production control, engineering, supply chain, and customer relations

• Experience applying technical principles in the manufacturing life cycle
