Position Overview
Collaborate with all team members to ensure that The Sorrel River Ranch product is delivered to the highest operational standards. Execute once-in-a-lifetime experiences for guests by anticipating guest needs, tailoring service to guest preferences, and exceeding expectations. Support the management in daily operations and leadership of the team. Support the business operations team by assisting with projects relating to the MEWS, and monthly inventories, team support and training on the systems. Support The Sorrel River Ranch operations by continuing to clarify The Sorrel River Ranch product, structure, standard operating procedures, and support other operations, as necessary. Work to further The Sorrel River Ranch product by questioning operational norms, proposing solutions, and striving to innovate and streamline The Sorrel River Ranch operation.
Position & Responsibilities
All duties must be done in the manner prescribed by Sorrel River Ranch and Spa.
- Supervise all department personnel demonstrating high leadership skills, model behaviors, and exemplary actions.
- Manage and motivate all Guest Experience Makers, Guides/Tours, Spa Therapists, and Reservations, with daily supervision to include staffing, training, discipline, scheduling, and visually monitoring performance to ensure adherence to all service and productivity standards to provide guest satisfaction. Understanding and anticipating each guest’s wants and needs. Helping co-workers goes beyond exceeding guests’ wants and needs.
- Check and control room reservations, front office systems, and supplies inventory, scheduling, forecasting and department budget to maximize revenue.
- Compile and prepare financial reports, including the rate and availability calendar. Be 100% responsible for Revinate, Synxis, Akia, Mews Expedia and all other OTA’s and third-party booking engines.
- Conduct daily, weekly department meetings.
- Be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training and hiring of all Front Office personnel.
- Direct department training programs include Orientation, New Hire Training, EI Certification, Train-the-Trainer, Ongoing Training, and Performance Evaluations.
- Plan, assign, and direct various department tasks and projects assigned.
- Demonstrate knowledge of, adherence to, and enforcement of all SRR standards
- Supervise and assist staff with basic functions such as:
- Process guest check-in and check-out smoothly and correctly.
- Enforce and execute all cash handling, check, and credit policies to accurately balance transactions, charges and payments, and guest billing.
- Deliver all guest messages, mail, and packages in a timely manner.
- Ensure that accurate guest and room status information is maintained and effectively communicated by completing thorough reviews as assigned.
- Operate front desk equipment including but not limited to phone system, MEWS - Property Management System (PMS), Central Reservation System, copier, calculator, fax, internet systems and printers.
- Maintain consistent communication, especially with housekeeping and engineering departments.
- Complete necessary shift paperwork and ensure accuracy on shift checklist, logbook, courtesy call back log, and all other forms or checklists assigned.

The College of Environmental Design (CED) at UC Berkeley invites applications for a pool of qualified instructors to provide expertise in studio and non-studio courses, workshops, and student advising for each of the academic departments including Architecture, City & Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture, as well as the degree-granting programs in the Institute of Urban and Regional Development which include the Master of Real Estate Development + Design program (MRED+D), the Master of Urban Design and the Sustainable Environmental Design undergraduate major.
TSP Duties: TSPs lend variety and extensive industry and leadership experience to our programs by providing 1:1 coaching, limited duration workshops, student contest advising and career readiness exercises coached by industry experts. TSPs do not have responsibility for lectures, assignments, or grading. The Pool is reviewed when need arises, the existence of the Pool does not mean there is an available position.

Job Summary
The Georgia Institute of Technologys School of Architecture invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at Associate or Full Professor in the School of Architecture in the area of Architecture and Design Computing. The successful candidate will: First, lead the development of research agendas in this area; second, serve as steward for the Eastman Fund to support doctoral students; and third, work with the School Chair and the Dean in order to reshape the mission of the Digital Building Lab (DBL).
The DBL was created by professor Chuck Eastman to address design computation, data standards and interoperability. Over the years it has housed studies in design and construction automation; project delivery systems; and smart buildings, infrastructure and environments, often working in conjunction with the Digital Fabrication Lab which provides a setting for design-build projects for the faculty and the students. The DBL has also fostered collaborations between the faculty of the School of Architecture, the School of Building Construction and the School of Industrial Design, as well as collaborations with the research labs of the faculty including the Shape Computation Lab (SCL) and the High Performance Buildings Lab. Under professor Chuck Eastman, funding came from both successful research applications and from industry memberships. The partnerships with industry fostered and sustained a link between academic research and advances in practice as well as in research internal to major architecture firms. Now is the time to redefine and revitalize the vision and the mission of the lab, taking into account current developments in artificial intelligence, data-based design decisions, and advanced digital modeling of buildings and their performance.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the successful candidate include securing and conducting funded research, stewarding the future identity and growth of DBL, mentoring early career researchers, advising PhD students, leading the development of forward-looking curricula for the MS Arch and PhD programs, and teaching advanced graduate courses in candidate's area of expertise.
Required Qualifications
Candidate must have a terminal professional degree in Architecture or an allied discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
A strong record of publications on architectural and design computation and/or the development of digital technologies applicable to building design and construction; and a strong track record of sponsored research, industry collaboration, and teaching. A Doctoral Degree is preferred. An interest and ability to relate research to studio teaching is welcome but studio teaching is not a requirement for this position.

The Public Services department provides 24/7 support to the Georgia Tech Library community. Job Summary

Job Duty 1 - Proactively engaging and assisting library users in obtaining requested materials. Answers Customer Support Tickets. Assist users with lending technology reservations and instruct on the use of various media and audiovisual equipment.
Job Duty 2 - Use a variety of library-specific software programs to fulfill requests and update user records, switching between multiple system interfaces as necessary; systems including but not limited to: Alma, Primo, Student Information System (Banner), customer issue tracking system (Jira), and various databases and library resources.
