Position Overview:
This role is primarily responsible for managing multiple Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) facilities, ensuring accurate inventory, safe and efficient material handling, and compliance with company and customer standards. The candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives across VMI sites, optimize logistics flows, and coordinate with multiple plant warehouses to support inbound, outbound, and special material requests as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. VMI Operations Management
- Lead and oversee all aspects of multiple VMI sites, including inbound receipt, quality inspection, inventory accuracy, and outbound shipments.
- Maintain real-time inventory data for consumables, ISO tanks, and fixed assets, and coordinate with external maintenance teams to handle anomalies or asset issues.
- Manage outbound processes to ensure shipments meet customer specifications, including sampling, labeling, and final quality verification.
- Oversee empty tank return, cleaning, inspection, and asset integrity; optimize return logistics and explore new cost-effective routes.
- Drive operational excellence through process standardization, material flow optimization, and data accuracy improvements across all VMI sites.
2. Cross-Plant Collaboration
- Coordinate with multiple plant warehouses to support inbound and outbound shipments, special orders, and sample requests as required.
- Assist in data validation, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure alignment between VMI operations and plant supply chain performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse and logistics experience, preferably including VMI or multi-site operations.
- Strong knowledge of WMS, inventory management, and logistics operations.

The Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Analyst is responsible for internal controls as well as the RouteOne Comprehensive Information Security Program. This program is designed to protect company information, data and facilities; maintain the security of assets; and to ensure the efficacy of, and compliance with internal controls. The overall goal is to design, develop, implement, and maintain compliance to a comprehensive information security program that is appropriate to the sensitivity of the information and data that is scoped adequately for the size, complexity, nature, and risk of RouteOne’s business activities. The ideal candidate will have the skill to communicate the details of this program, in writing and speaking, to management, external auditors and customers, regardless of their technical or non-technical backgrounds.
Job Requirements
- Execute and manage internal audits.
- Collect and maintain audit evidence for annual SOC (Service Organizations Controls) and GLBA audits derived from results of internal audits, including documentation of deviations.
- Participate in audits of RouteOne’s vendors and perform subsequent remediation tracking to closure.
- Respond to audits from finance sources and other customers including participating and leading in-person or virtual audit sessions, answering detailed questionnaires, and gathering and providing evidence as well as managing remediation of findings from these audits.
- Respond to due diligence requests from finance sources and other customers, providing documentation such as SOC reports, security reports, and other evidence.
- Design new controls and subsequent documentation updates to policies and procedures to close audit findings. Review reports generated from various monitoring and scanning tools and escalate to the Cybersecurity Team appropriately.
- Collect data, produce reports, and analyze metrics from audits conducted to evaluate compliance, and collaborate with internal IT Teams to improve existing cybersecurity measures.
- Contribute to certain functions within the information security framework that ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets by protecting against unauthorized use, disclosure, modification, or loss.
- Assist with informing and educating staff about information security, compliance, risks, and governance including assisting in phishing prevention campaigns and monitoring employee training compliance.
- Assist in monitoring, administering, and enforcing security policies/procedures.
- Review existing documentation of IT controls, business processes, policies, procedures, and management reports for compliance, effectiveness, and sustainability.
- Manage remediation plans/corrective actions for any vulnerabilities or compliance failures reported in audits.
- Perform gap analysis to assess compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and duties such as NIST, PCI-DSS, GLBA, CSA, FCRA, Privacy Laws, and other frameworks as needed.
- Maintain safety, security, and privacy standards throughout all areas of responsibility.

Location and schedule
The Shift Supervisor will be located at Selig’s facility in Forrest, IL. Required to cover supervision of employees in a facility that is currently 225,000 ft2. This position is eligible for straight overtime pay for hours worked in excess of the regular schedule.

Position Summary
The Quality Engineer strengthens product quality systems and architecture within the Quality Management System (QMS) in an advanced optics manufacturing environment. This role translates customer requirements and field performance insights into defined standards, controls, and acceptance criteria while ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
The position drives quality excellence by managing process, product, and equipment changes, ensuring deliverables meet intended use through testing, inspection, and verification. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and independent, data-driven decision-making based on engineering principles, scientific methods, and quality best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Systems & Compliance
- Apply and maintain knowledge of ISO Quality Standards.
- Ensure product quality and compliance with internal and customer requirements.
- Support and maintain Quality Management System effectiveness.
- Perform internal and external audits to ensure regulatory and procedural compliance.
- Author and review SOPs, specifications, and technical documentation.
Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, manufacturing efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Optimize sampling plans and inspection methodologies for Quality Control and manufacturing processes.
- Lead Lean and Performance Excellence (PEx) initiatives using data analysis and experimentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve yield, increase capacity, reduce complexity, and optimize workflows.
Product & Process Engineering Support
- Collaborate with plant and division innovation teams to translate new product requirements into plant specifications.
- Support qualification and validation activities alongside Plant Engineering.
- Ensure process changes meet quality, compliance, productivity, and cost targets.
- Maintain strong product, analytical, and process knowledge.
Problem Solving & Investigations
- Lead or support root cause investigations related to customer complaints and process or product performance issues.
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to resolve technical challenges independently.
- Support material disposition decisions based on quality evaluation.
Training & Collaboration
- Provide employee training on procedures, technical updates, and quality practices.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to achieve operational objectives.
- Support project execution and contribute to project management activities.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, process, or quality environments.
- Previous Quality Engineering experience within manufacturing or technical operations.
- Experience conducting internal and external audits.
- Demonstrated root cause analysis and independent problem-solving capability.
- Experience with material disposition processes.
- Experience developing procedures and work instructions.
- Project management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or regulated product environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (Performance Excellence).

Purpose of the Position
We are seeking a Vice President of Operations and Engineering to lead our North American production, engineering, and logistics footprint. This leader will drive our localization strategy, focusing on the localization of manufacturing and engineering to serve our key regional focus markets, which include MedTech, Aerospace and Defense, Infrastructure, and Automotive Production. The role will build operational excellence across our footprint, deliver strong connection to customers, and ensure scalable capacity as the market grows.
Main Tasks
- Lead the implementation of the localization strategy, focusing production and engineering for North American focus markets.
- Oversee Operations, including logistics, planning, purchasing, assembly and the machine shop.
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for Engineering, including Custom Product Engineering, Application Engineering, and R&D interfaces.
- Ensure organizational structure, processes, and capabilities are in place to support full lifecycle engineering from requirements gathering and feasibility analysis to design, validation, release, and production ramp-up.
- Take ownership for the Custom Product Engineering organization, including technical content responsibility, decision authority on engineering concepts, and overall delivery quality.
- Lead Quality Management and Assurance as part of Operations, including compliance systems, audits, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to AS9100D, ISO 9001, and ISO 17025.
- Manage production and engineering KPIs, such as productive hours, delivery reliability, throughput, scrap rate, and on-time launch of development and improvement projects.
- Establish performance dashboards and drive data-based decisions using Celonis, Power BI, and other analytics tools.
- Provide strong, presence-based leadership at the Amherst site, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Directors and the General Manager to maintain proximity to customers and align operations with commercial priorities.
- Represent Operations and Engineering during customer meetings, audits, and site visits.
- Develop and manage capital investment plans for production assets, engineering equipment, and process capabilities.
- Maintain functional alignment with corporate platform leaders in Engineering and Production.
- Ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration between Engineering, Production, Sales, Quality, and Product Management to enable customer-centric, technically sound solutions.
- Lead and develop teams in accordance with Kistler leadership principles, ensuring talent development, succession planning, and retention.
Requirements Profile
- Experienced Operations and Engineering leader with a successful track record in complex industrial or high-precision environments.
- Twelve or more years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, or engineering; experience in MedTech, Aerospace and Defense, Infrastructure, or Automotive Production is highly valued.
- Proven leadership of engineering organizations, including responsibility for product engineering, design, customization, and technical decision-making.
- Hands-on leadership style, comfortable engaging directly with teams on the shop floor, in labs, and across operations.
- Strong understanding of ERP and manufacturing execution systems; SAP experience strongly preferred.
- Skilled in lean manufacturing, digital operations, capacity planning, and cross-functional coordination.
- Demonstrated success in budget management, capital investment planning, and asset utilization.
