  • Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications.
  • Working knowledge of Fire Alarm and Life Safety System regulations/requirements.

Responsibilities:

Write, develop, and edit CNC programs in conjunction with continuous improvements

Plan machining operations by reviewing work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters;

The Supervisor may assign specific equipment or other tasks at the supervisor’s discretion.

Job Duties:

  • Reading and interpreting production schedules, job router cards, blueprints, non-conformance reports, and any other materials that summarize requirements for the grinding of rubber rolls.
  • Locating and retrieving rolls to the grinding production area utilizing overhead cranes and various materials handling equipment.
  • Preparing the individual rolls for installation in the grinding equipment, utilizing knives to trim back rubber from the rollers prior to installing the rollers into the equipment, cleaning steel surfaces of rollers using hand or mechanical equipment, cleaning steel surfaces of rollers using hand or mechanical equipment, such as die-grinders or sheet abrasive/polishing materials.
  • Setting the grinding equipment, installing special grinding wheels or attachments, adjusting and setting tooling on tool posts, installing live-centers, chucks centers, extensions, dogs, etc.
  • Aligning the rollers in the equipment to meet all dimensional requirements of job order. This includes adjustment for taper, TIR, roller surface finish, and finish dimensions.
  • Measure all required dimensions and understand the relationship of the dimensions to the specific requirements of the job.
  • Utilize all inspection and measurement equipment per procedure and instruction, including durometer gauges, pi-tapes, P&J gauges, micrometers, vernier diameter tapes, dial indicators, profilometers, temperature-indicating devices, and others as needed.
  • Complete the grinding operation and inspect the finished product to ensure that all requirements are met.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, inspection reports, job router information, and operator sign-off on job.
  • Clean all metal and rubber surfaces prior to protective wrapping.
  • Unload the grinding equipment safely and without damage or harm to personnel, equipment or finished product.
  • Deliver the finished product to a designated storage area or shipping container.
  • Safely operate the grinding equipment to produce the desired results and meet the specific job requirement.
  • Maintain a clean work environment, floors swept, supplies properly stored, equipment cleaned and well maintained.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • Understands/applies basic math, including accurate addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities and Duties


  • Produce quality parts on CNC machines such as, but not limited to, Lathes, Mill Turn, 3 Axis Milling, 4 Axis Milling, 5 Axis Milling
  • Load parts, prove tapes, operate controls, set offsets, perform edits, deburr and inspect
  • Study and interpret drawings, manuals, and specifications; determine dimensions and tolerances, perform sequence of operations and setup measurements
  • Interpret inspection data and make adjustments
  • Measure and mark dimensions and reference points for subsequent machining
  • Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjust machine, controls, or control media as required to ensure quality of production.
  • Communicate with supervisor, engineers, maintenance, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues
  • Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly; perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Adhere and comply with state and federal law, the Company AS9100 quality program and procedures, Company policies and safety and environmental regulations
  • May perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications and Skills


  • High School Diploma or GED. Technical/Vocational training desired.
  • 2 year degree in Precision Machining, OR minimum of 2 years operating CNC machines such as lathes, milling, and mill turn machines within a controlled Mil-Aerospace or medical parts machining environment
  • Experience machining medium to high complexity work
  • Knowledge of programming language
  • Proficient knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Instruments should include but not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators, and CMM experience
  • Knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerance and dimensions
  • Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
  • Must be able to communicate in English (both oral and written) as it relates to the job
  • Must be adaptable to a changing work environment
  • Must possess math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.
  • Willing to run multiple machines independently or in a team environment.

Overview:

The Emergency Services Coordinator will inspect and audit all Safety regulatory compliance for the entire Six Flags property. They will also participate in Fire Protection, and assist the EMS team when necessary as necessary.

Responsibilities:

Respond to fire-related calls for service as part of the Fire Brigade 
Conduct and record safety audits and inspections regularly throughout the Six Flags Great Adventure properties 
Conduct safety inspections before or during projects to analyze safety risks 
Educate employees on safety standards and procedures 
Provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace 
Investigate accidents that occur onsite and identify possible causes of the accident
