Position Summary
Performs a variety of technical work in the day-to-day operation of the Public Works Asset Management and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Programs. Provide support and training to end users as assigned. These tasks are illustrative only and may include other related duties.

Essential Duties
Modifies and maintains CMMS data to support asset data analysis. Works independently with vendors, and Public Works supervisors to assist in program development by gathering information for assets and other new and old data and information needed to allow the asset data system to function effectively; creates new codes for the above areas mentioned and when necessary modifies asset characteristics and descriptions.
Provides daily user support including routine troubleshooting and system and data maintenance for asset data analysis, working closely with Information Technology and GIS to evaluate responsibility for addressing specific requests. Ensures the integration of CMMS with other systems and relevant databases.
Assists with the establishment and maintenance of user profiles within the CMMS, e.g. security settings and access controls for each program user.
Assists with establishing equipment records; associates the manufacturer's maintenance recommendations with the equipment records. Defines, compiles, and incorporates maintenance activities in the CMMS system. Provides guidance and support to end users in the operation, use and capabilities of the CMMS.
Coordinates with Public Works program supervisors to efficiently and accurately enter data into the system. Collects and enters asset data into the CMMS and related databases from various sources including direct field investigation; documents such as as-built drawings, invoices, and O&M manuals.
Generates standard and ad-hoc reports using the standard report structure of the asset data system, and other end user reporting tools. Fulfills requests for reports and information; works with end users to understand business processes and report requirements for assigned projects.
Performs quality control checks of asset data to ensure the accuracy of all data within the system.
Provides input to the division supervisor on system needs, the performance of asset data software and hardware, and improvements to the asset data analysis system.
Provides in-house training programs and manuals for asset management, CMMS, GIS, and other relevant software applications.
Maintains professional networks and attends training sessions and conferences as necessary to advance skills and keep abreast of issues and practices in all areas of responsibility.
Researches and makes recommendations on Asset Management and CMMS needs; monitors the performance of asset data software and hardware and recommends improvements. Assists with CMMS hardware and software upgrades for the asset data analysis system. Ensures the implementation of processes and practices are in support of asset management best practices and are synchronized with GIS. Assists with hardware and software upgrades for the asset data analysis system.
Serves as a member of various City committees as assigned. Assists other staff in the performance of their duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required. Four years of related experience, training and/or education in Information Technology, Asset Management or GIS with three of those years in database development and project management in an increasingly responsible capacity.

Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, including major coursework in computer science and engineering and significant coursework in database system management. Two years of increasingly responsible related experience in database development and project management.
Related experience includes significant responsibility collecting, entering and verifying data, supporting users, analyzing workflows and data, and reporting.
Prior experience and/or education in the maintenance and use of Asset Management/CMMS/GIS systems preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
General knowledge of the principles, theories and methods of database concepts, structures, and programming logic; and the various types, classes, uses, and interrelationships of assets. Knowledge of asset management within a typical municipal Public Works department preferred.
CMMS and GIS software skills are preferred, including creating, editing and reporting on assets, using built-in functions or query languages (e.g. SQL).
Ability to develop procedures and to provide end user training.
Effective communication, analytical, customer service, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Ability to get along well with co-workers and maintain working relationships; ability to promote a culture of teamwork and communication.

Role Overview:
The Director of Legislative Policy Strategy is responsible for coordinating and executing Applied Digital’s legislative and public policy strategy across national, state, and local levels. Summary of the Job: The primary responsibilities of Machinist Lead - Milling will be to play a vital role in overseeing the team and daily function of the pod. Under guidance of an experienced supervisor and manager, you will oversee production, maintenance, pod cleanliness and scheduling of projects.
Duties and responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate Haas and Okuma CNC milling machines using Mastercam
- Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T
- Machine custom fixtures, tooling, and production components to specified tolerances
- Collaborate with the Wire EDM process; utilize Makino Wire EDM support for fixture and tooling components as needed
- Coordinate the activities of technician in the pod by assigning tasks and ensuring adherence to production schedules.
- Inspect machinery for signs of wear, damage, or malfunction, and work with floor supervisor to generate appropriate corrective actions to address any issues identified.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to pod technicians, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Have a strong understanding of G-Code and CAM to generate and modify when needed.
- Oversee the setup and operation of Mills and Vertical Saws to produce precision components according to engineering specifications.
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with management to prioritize work orders, allocate resources, and optimize production workflows.
- Conduct regular inspections of machining equipment, identifying maintenance needs, and coordinating repairs and upgrades as necessary.
- Support Management with develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality control measures to improve process consistency and reduce waste.
- Communicate effectively with management, colleagues, and external stakeholders to provide updates on production status, resource requirements, and project timelines.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, promoting adherence to company policies, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience:
- High School Graduate
- Minimum of 10+ years of CNC milling experience in a job shop environment
- Strong proficiency in Mastercam programming (2D and 3D)
- Extensive experience setting up and operating Haas and/or Okuma CNC mills preferred
- Proven ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T
- Experience machining fixtures, tight-tolerance parts, and varying part specifications
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and process control
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs concurrently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a high-mix, low-to-medium volume job shop
- Familiarity with Wire EDM processes, specifically Makino Wire EDM, for fixture and tooling support
Necessary Skills:
- Problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), maintain Lab ISO and process Safety procedures.

A-T-S is accepting applications for an Environmental Inspector (EI)/Project Biologist/Environmental Scientist. As part of the Construction Management Team, the EI inspects, evaluates, verifies, and documents the compliance of construction activities according to environmental conditions and requirements contained in the CEQA documents, Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Plan (MMRP), federal, state and local permits and construction documents/specifications. As part of the job, the EI, as the client’s representative, also provides recommendations to contractors to keep them in compliance. The EI is expected to understand BMP, storm water management, air quality, dust and noise minimization and coordinate the specialty expertise personnel in these areas.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts daily or routine inspections of environmental parameters and provides environmental awareness training.
- Prepares daily environmental inspection logs and maintains compliance tracking materials.
- Works closely with contractors and applies knowledge of permits and other project related documents to make quick decisions.
- Establishes relationships with the client, contractors and other stake-holders.
- May assist with other tasks as needed, including attending meetings to obtain and provide project updates, monthly and/or annual reporting, and assistance with the development of various plans (e.g., relocation, burrow protection, refueling, contractor submittals).
- May assist with non-EI related projects to perform plant and/or wildlife surveys, vegetation management monitoring, and contractor monitoring.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of consulting experience in the natural resources management field, 2 years of experience in construction monitoring and inspection.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Biology, Ecology, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
- For candidates with biology degree, the experience level to be qualified/approved by CDFW and/or USFWS for species-specific work.
- Experience working with and understanding CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act) requirements various environmental regulations.
- Knowledge and experience with field data collection practices, data management, and preparation of technical documents.

Job Summary
The College of Sciences (CoS) and the College of Engineering (CoE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia invite applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions in the field of solar-terrestrial science and/or space weather. Applicants will be considered at all ranks, though there is a particular focus on the Assistant and Associate ranks. Areas of interest include but are not limited to the Earth's ionosphere and magnetosphere, space weather forecasting and resilience. Applicants with research interests in any or all of sensors and observations from ground or satellite instruments, data analysis and data science, modeling and theoretical research, are all welcome to apply. The position will be supported by the National Science Foundation under the Faculty Development in geoSpace Science program. This unique faculty search is being pursued by a joint effort of two Colleges, enabling candidates across a broad range of backgrounds to apply. The departmental home of the hired candidate will be determined based on best fit and may be anywhere within CoS or CoE.
