Position Overview
A manufacturing organization is seeking a Level III Machinist to produce precision components and tooling using a variety of manual and CNC machining equipment. This role involves interpreting complex blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions to manufacture medium- to high-complexity parts while maintaining strict dimensional tolerances and quality standards. The Machinist may also support prototype development and collaborate with engineering teams on new product and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling and turning centers in accordance with detailed blueprints, job routings, and work instructions.
- Review and retrieve job-related documentation, including part drawings, tooling lists, and manufacturing instructions.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding methods for a variety of materials and machining operations.
- Perform complex machining operations for both proven and unproven parts, including prototype and experimental work as required.
- Install, align, secure, and adjust cutting tools and workpieces; monitor machine feeds, speeds, and offsets to ensure optimal performance.
- Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions and maintain tight tolerances.
- Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure compliance with quality and specification requirements.
- Deburr and finish all machined surfaces to meet engineering and quality standards.
- Accurately document production quantities, inspection results, and required processes within an ERP or manufacturing system.

Primary Responsibilities
• Create, verify, and revise Machine Control Data (MCD), tooling geometry, and setup documentation for multi-axis CNC machines (primarily 5-axis).
• Interpret engineering drawings, planning documentation, and manufacturing requirements to develop robust NC programs for aluminum and hard-metal parts.
• Develop multiple setups and operations for complex part geometries, ensuring fixturing, tooling, and machine selection support producibility and tolerances.
• Produce clear setup sheets and operator instructions that enable consistent and safe machine operation.
• Use simulation/verification tools (e.g., Vericut) to validate programs and eliminate collisions or gouges prior to shop-floor execution.
• Troubleshoot and iterate programs based on first-article inspections, in-process feedback, and shop-floor testing.
• Coordinate with planning, manufacturing engineering, tooling design, and machine operators to optimize cycle times, reduce scrap, and address manufacturability concerns.
• For Level 4: Lead the design of custom fixtures and complex tooling arrangements and define machining strategies across multiple operations and machines.
• Maintain program documentation, revisions, and configuration control per company/contract requirements.
• Work under minimal direction.
Required Skills
• 7+ years of NC programming experience for production machining or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The Applied Analytics Analyst serves as the technical anchor of the Strategic Resource Group. This role is responsible for translating complex business and market questions into structured, executable data outputs using Trilliant Health’s proprietary claims, provider directory, and price transparency datasets.
The Applied Analytics Analyst owns feasibility validation, analytical methodology design, and data integrity across research initiatives and pre-sales support. This individual combines strong technical proficiency with healthcare domain expertise and plays a critical role in standardizing how recurring strategic questions are answered across the organization.
You are our ideal candidate if you:
- Design and execute complex SQL queries and data builds from Trilliant’s data warehouse
- Capture and maintain documentation outlining how and why analytical frameworks are applied to support consistency and institutional knowledge retention
- Validate data integrity and identify gaps, missingness, structural limitations, or edge cases
- Own technical feasibility assessments for research and pre-sales opportunities
- Develop repeatable analytical frameworks for common strategic use cases
- Support research initiatives through structured dataset construction and methodological validation
- Create reusable datasets, templates, and documentation to reduce institutional knowledge concentration
- Maintain high standards of quality control and analytical rigor across all deliverables
- Interface effectively with Sales, SRG, Research, Product, and Data Engineering teams
- Respond to ambiguity with structured problem solving and professional judgment
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience querying large data warehouses
- Experience working in Databricks or similar environments preferred
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Tableau or other BI tools
- Experience working with complex healthcare claims datasets required
