Job Summary

We are seeking to hire a talented Seasonal Service Professional who will inspect and perform pest control treatments for residential and commercial customers using high quality and environmentally responsible products.

DETAILS

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient routes individually.
• Read and interpret pesticide labels to correctly mix products based on areas measured and quantities needed.
• Address and alleviate customer concerns and pest related issues by using integrated pest management strategies
• Maintain and care for company equipment, vehicle and gas card and other job-related items.
• Complete all duties required by a pest/mosquito/termite service professional: customer consultation, inspection, eliminate/identify conducive conditions and proper treatments.
• Record work activities and complete all paperwork after finishing services.
• Exemplify safe performance of job duties and adherence to safety policies and procedures.

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Mold Maker to support tooling maintenance, repairs, and improvement activities within a high-volume plastic injection molding environment. This position is hands-on and ideal for someone who thrives in a toolroom setting, enjoys troubleshooting, and takes pride in building and repairing precision tooling components.

What You’ll Do

• Repair, clean, and service injection molds, plates, and tooling components
• Disassemble and reassemble molds, including hot runner systems, water lines, seals, and fittings
• Troubleshoot issues related to mold wear, alignment, flow, and electrical components
• Operate manual machining equipment (mills, lathes, ID/OD grinders, surface grinders)
• Perform EDM work and CNC equipment operations for tooling repairs
• Build or modify tooling components using prints and shop equipment
• Support continuous improvement, 5S, and lean practices in the toolroom
• Ensure safe operation of machinery and help train others on tooling best practices

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in plastic injection mold repair or tool & die work
• Ability to read blueprints, tooling prints, and schematics
• Experience with mold teardown, assembly, spotting, cleaning, and troubleshooting
• Strong skills with mills, lathes, grinders, and general toolroom equipment
• Familiarity with CNC equipment and EDM (programming not required)
• Understanding of lean/5S practices preferred
• High school diploma or GED (Tool & Die certification a plus)

• Well established and growing company in the Minneapolis area has an outstanding opportunity available for a Tooling Manager. This position will have 7-9 direct reports. Responsibilities: Manage all tool builds & engineering changes. Manage the Tool Room Department and the sampling of new molds. Schedule and monitor mold builds. Schedule to tool shop. A 4yr degree in related field or combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Tool Room environment.
• Minimum of 10 years of management experience, preferably managing a tool shop.
• Knowledge of production scheduling and related shop operations, tooling design, including CAD/CAM. Experience in plastic injection molding and injection molding tooling is a must. Plastic Mold Making experience is preferred.
