Position Summary
Posting Note: Phoenix Children's is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Nursing Services to lead the Main Operating Room and PreOp/PACU departments. The Director will oversee a high-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment, ensuring delivery of safe, family-centered care while advancing strategic growth initiatives and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated success in perioperative leadership within a pediatric setting.
The Director of Nursing Services is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational management of multiple departments and/or locations. This position is also focused on service line strategies and programs. The position assumes responsibility for financial oversight, positive customer experience, performance management, process improvement, planning and directing departmental/unit leaders and staff. The director designs and evaluates standards of practice, regulatory compliance, systems, and processes to optimize care excellence in an efficient, effective manner while supporting the mission, vision, values and strategic objectives.
Position Duties
- Financial Management
a. Develops operational plans, initiatives, budgets and programs that support patient care strategies at the enterprise and operational unit levels.
b. Manages and meets throughput and productivity metrics and variances for staff and programs assigned.
c. Ensures capital planning for the departments and maintains 3 year plan.
d. Manages and meets operational budgets/targets.
e. Partners with legal and finance to assure that Phoenix Children's obtains most optimal contracts terms.
f. Works in partnership with finance to assure that patient billing is captured.
- Human Resource Management
a. Develops and manages performance trends and staffing plans to meet patient care volumes.
b. Manages human resources within the scope of labor laws and hospital policies.
c. Applies recruitment techniques and strategies to fill leader and staff vacancies.
d. Applies individual and team interview techniques to select qualified applicants.
e. Oversees development and evaluates onboarding process and content for leaders and staff.
f. Conducts manager and staff evaluations, assists leaders and staff with setting goals, implements continual performance development and initiates corrective action as needed.
g. Ensures a Just Culture environment.
- Performance Improvement
a. Collaborates with Quality and Enterprise Services to assure care is patient-centered and evidenced based and ensures standardization across multiple departments.
b. Facilitates and maintains strong external relationships in order to monitor national and local trends and identify best practice metrics.
c. Monitors effectiveness of customer service strategies and partners with unit leadership to implement improvements.
d. Monitor and address customer service issues directly related to care.
e. Directs and manages daily operations to ensure patient care meets professional and regulatory standards.
f. Leads efforts to improve quality across the service line and leads efforts for survey readiness.
- Strategic Management
a. In partnership with other leaders and physicians, develops, implements and/or leads key initiatives to provide high quality patient care.

Are you an experienced leader in Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) installation, ready to take on large-scale projects and mentor a team? As a Lead DAS Installer, you'll lead the charge in implementing wireless solutions for in-building distributed antenna systems. You’ll oversee a crew of 3-5 installers, ensuring the highest quality standards are met on every job site. This is a hands-on role, working closely with the Project Manager and installation teams to deliver seamless wireless coverage.
Your expertise will help guide the team in reading blueprints, installing DAS equipment, and configuring advanced systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who enjoys working in dynamic environments across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Installation Crews: Oversee installation teams, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to 3-5 technicians throughout the project lifecycle.
- DAS Equipment Installation: Install outdoor and indoor antennas, coaxial cables, CATV, fiber optic cables, CAT 5/6, and DC power cables to NEC standards.
- Cabling & Testing: Perform advanced cable terminations, including coaxial (JMA, Andrews, Trilogy), fiber fusion splicing, OTDR testing, and coaxial PIM/Sweep testing.
- System Configuration & Integration: Configure and integrate DAS head-end systems such as Rectifiers, Battery Systems, VoltServer, Commscope iON-B and iON-U, JMA Teko, and Corning Mobile Access. Manage monitoring systems including T1, broadband backhaul, routers, and dry contact alarms.
- Project Reporting & Communication: Keep both the company and clients informed about project progress, safety standards, and local codes. Update and maintain project documentation, customer prints, and site reports.
- Site Surveys & RF Design: Conduct site surveys to troubleshoot and optimize RF/fiber optic installations, report findings, and design corrective solutions for inadequate coverage.
- Assist in Project Preparation: Help in proposal development, project scheduling, and materials/subcontractor selection processes.
- Warehouse Support: Assist with warehouse maintenance, inventory management, and ensuring adequate materials for upcoming projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of in-building DAS installation experience.
- Extensive experience with cable installation in IT, RF, electrical, and/or telecommunications fields.
- Expertise in fiber fusion splicing, terminations, dressing, cleaning, and OTDR testing.
- Proven ability in RF Sweep and PIM measurements.
- Solid understanding of wireless networks, including modulation techniques (UTMS, GSM, LTE), amplifier/antenna/cable theory, link budgets, and propagation tools.
- Experience using RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, sweep, and PIM gear).
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and design drawings.
- Management Skills: Previous experience as a Field Supervisor, with a proven track record of managing and mentoring less experienced technicians.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Additional Requirements:
- Travel: Ability to travel nationwide for project deployments lasting 4-6 weeks, with short breaks in between. Travel constitutes over 60% of the role.
- Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. unassisted.
- Repeatedly ascend and descend ladders (6ft-14ft).
- Work in tight, confined spaces, such as attics and drop ceilings.
- Walk continuously across the job site while carrying ladders, tools, and materials.
- Ability to work in varied conditions, both indoor and outdoor (hot and cold).
- Tools: Must provide basic hand tools.
- Compliance: Must pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and pre-employment physical.

About the Role:
This is not an entry-level or “learn-as-you-go” management position. We are intentionally seeking someone with depth of operational experience, strong leadership skills, and the confidence to operate independently while collaborating closely with corporate leadership.
Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3–5+ years in a multi-site supervisory or regional management role
- Experience in self-storage, real estate, or multi-unit operations preferred
- Proven ability to manage budgets, drive revenue, and optimize property performance
- Strong leadership and team development experience, including coaching and performance management
Role Focus:
Operations & Property Oversight
- Ensure assigned properties meet financial, operational, and customer service goals
- Conduct regular property visits, audits, and inspections to maintain operational standards
- Review property-level reports, budgets, and maintenance plans; recommend improvements
- Serve as a point of escalation for tenant, property owner, and team member issues
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise and support property managers and senior team members across multiple locations
- Collaborate with HR and Training teams on hiring, onboarding, and professional development
- Provide coaching and performance guidance; complete performance reviews and feedback cycles
- Foster engagement, morale, and a culture aligned with company values
Strategic & Cross-Functional Initiatives
- Partner with leadership to drive operational improvements and property performance initiatives
- Support marketing, revenue management, and customer experience strategies
- Contribute to policies, processes, and project implementation across the region

The New York State Executive Chamber is seeking a high-energy Content Associate to join our Digital-Creative Team. This team is the primary architect of the administration's digital voice, responsible for executing a high volume of written and visual content across all major channels, including social media, email, SMS, and official web platforms. Reporting to the Director of Digital Strategy, the Content Associate will serve as a critical partner in managing Governor Kathy Hochul’s digital presence.
In this role, you will be on the front lines of communicating the Governor’s agenda to millions of New Yorkers. You will balance a fast-paced writing and messaging portfolio with on-the-ground field production, directly capturing the Governor’s work as it happens. A successful candidate will be a collaborative storyteller, working across Executive Chamber departments and State agencies to translate complex policy initiatives into engaging, accessible, and creative content that informs residents and highlights the real-world impact of the administration's work.
Content Writing & Message Development (~50%)
- Manage daily social media plans and produce daily content for all of the governor’s digital platforms.
- Draft long-form email newsletters and SMS alerts regarding key administration initiatives.
- Monitor the news of the day and execute engaging rapid-response content.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of weekly and monthly editorial calendars.
- Participate in the team's rotating on-call system for off-hours and weekend content posting.
Strategic Planning & Creative Brainstorming (~30%)
- Collaborate with senior digital and communications staff to identify new ways to translate complex policy into engaging, online content.
- Prepare and distribute digital toolkits and pitch creative ways to amplify key policy priorities.
- Participate in team brainstorms to develop out-of-the-box creative concepts for promoting the governor’s priorities.
Event Capture & Field Production (~20%)
- Travel with the governor to capture high-quality smartphone video and prepare assets for immediate distribution.
- Coordinate with on-site partners to scout visual locations; conduct constituent testimonials, and capture candid moments that highlight the real-world impact of the governor’s policies.
- Staff the governor during "on-the-go" recordings, ensuring optimal positioning, lighting, and message delivery.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have 1-3+ years in digital communications, social media management, or content creation, preferably within a fast-paced political, government, advocacy, or similar-paced environment.
- Have exceptional writing/communications skills – especially in writing for social media.
- Be familiar with the nuances, trends, and best practices across Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, TikTok, and emerging digital platforms.
- Have experience and/or comfort level directing and staffing a high-profile principal (e.g., an elected official or executive) during content shoots and events.
- Have a great sense of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain organization while managing multiple rapid-response priorities.
- Be able to share a portfolio of recent creative content ideas (either via professional or personal work).
- Have basic familiarity with content creation tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and/or other comparable graphic design and video editing software.
- Be willing to travel statewide and staff on-call shifts during nights and weekends.
