Our GYN providers cover both inpatient and outpatient and perform minor and major GYN surgeries in addition to typical office procedures. Knowledge and experience with administering of IV and PO drugs and their possible adverse reactions.
Competent with patient evaluation, physical assessment, and interviewing techniques.
Knowledge in the legal aspects of nursing.
Successfully passing safety, cultural sensitivity, and blood pathogen classes.
Knowledge and experience with conscious sedation medications and their reversal agents.
Knowledge and demonstrated skill using special equipment such as monitors, infusion pumps, temporary pacemakers, O2 equipment, SPO2 monitors, EKG machines, defibrillators, etc..
Required Experience Required:
Graduated from an approved School of Nursing.
Current license as a Registered Nurse in California.
BCLS and ACLS certification.
Evidence of continuing education and self-development
Minimum of two (2) years experience in a Cardiovascular unit.
Demonstrates teaching ability in a formal and/or informal setting.
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
