About Role
Summary
As a member of the Transportation Team you will have daily interaction with Owner Operator and Food Hauler drivers. You will be responsible for the dispatching of trailer loads, accurately compiling and maintaining driver logs, ensuring that on-time delivery commitments are met, as well as tracking trailer movement in a 7 day operation: Sunday through Saturday. To be successful in this position, the candidate must have familiarity with transportation and distribution practices in a multi-dock, fast paced environment. Additionally, this position requires technical abilities and working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
1st Shift Schedule : 4am-12pm
Essential Functions
The core functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Understanding and working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
- Experience with transportation and distribution practices / principles
- Strong organization skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and driving logs
- Ability to manage scheduling prioritization while maintaining appropriate workflow in partnership with operations
- Utilize telematics platforms to monitor driver performance, delivery efficiency, GPS locations and temperature settings
Qualifications
- Two years of college or equivalent technical experience in Transportation or Distribution
- Working knowledge of Wakefern Management Information Systems required, including Rapid, TMMS, and On Board/GPS Systems
- Ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously while handling heavy telephone call volume
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to include professional email, telephone, and in person communications
- Flexibility with regard to working hours, shift rotations, work locations, weekends, overtime, and holidays in a 24/7 Sunday thru Saturday operation. Split work week is required (Any 6 out of 7) and days off will be based on business need and may not include traditional Saturday/Sunday off days.

The hourly salary range for this position is $25.78 – $30.00. Placement in the range depends on several factors, including experience, skills, education, geography, and budget considerations.

Key Responsibilities:
HVAC & Environmental Systems
- Perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems, including RTUs, chillers, dehumidifiers, mini-splits, and air-handling units.

The part-time Resident Services Coordinator will serve as an on-site representative of Esusu at a property in Richmond, VA. Community Building & Events
- Organize and facilitate Quarterly Workshop Series co-designed with property staff based on resident feedback.
- Promote virtual financial education workshops focusing on credit improvement and small business development.
- Increase awareness and engagement by distributing branded marketing materials (flyers, signage, digital resources) to ensure high participation rates.
Reporting & Coordination
- Track resident participation and qualitative "success stories."
- Collaborate with the Esusu Program Lead to provide data for quarterly impact reports.
- Coordinate closely with on-site property management to ensure alignment with community goals.
Weekly Commitment & Structure
- This role is expected to be around 10 hours per week.
- 7–8 hours on-site at the assigned property (one full day or two half days, depending on resident/property preference and your availability).
- A few additional hours for collaboration with the Esusu Program Lead, reporting, and other coordination tasks.
Qualifications:
- On-site Availability: Able to be on-site at the property in North Chesterfield / Richmond, VA for one full day per week (approx. 7-8 hours), with the option to split into two half days if preferred. Occasional evening hours may be required for workshops or community events.
- Experience: 2+ years in social services, community organizing, resident services, or case management (experience in affordable housing preferred).
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with diverse populations. Comfortable working with residents 1:1 or hosting workshops for groups.
- Tech Savviness: Comfortable using digital platforms (apps, SMS, webforms) and explaining financial tools and technology to others. Comfortable setting up a projector and slides for workshops.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with how to help residents engage with local social services resources, including healthcare clinics, workforce development boards, and utility assistance programs.
- Attributes: Self-starter capable of working independently on-site; empathetic but professional.

- Salary – $23/hour
