Karoun Dairies, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Digital Marketing Manager based in San Fernando, California.
About the Role Supply Chain Manager:
Reporting to the CEO, the is responsible to Manage, coordinate, plan, and organize strategic sourcing, purchasing, production and inventory planning, receiving, warehousing, control, and distribution of materials to satisfy distribution needs/service relations as required to accomplish these goals.
The Manager of Supply Chain will be tasked with the identification, development, and completion of significant efficiency/optimization projects. This person will be responsible to work cross functionally within SC as well as WH, and cross functional departments and divisions across the entire business using lean principles, total cost analysis, strong project management skills, and a highly developed to identify major cost saving initiatives, ensure cross functional collaboration, timely project completion and the realization of identified savings. Will be responsible to develop the targets / budget related to Supply Chain, working with others to develop baseline data, savings calculations, monthly tracking and reporting tools as well as the upkeep of all project charters to ensure accurate and timely reporting to CEO and management.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Oversees and manages 3 warehouse operations and logistics. (i.e., San Fernando, Turlock, and Chicago locations)
- Manages SAP Processes and Data Controls- Run and evaluate metrics in SAP regularly.
- Work with Warehouse Manager and team on reducing shipment/delivery errors and putting necessary actions in place. Work with CSR and to minimize returns or negative customer concerns.
- Improve warehouse efficiency and provide ideas to reduce operations cost
- Ensure an effective and efficient scheduling process to maximize facility resources, inventory, and On-Time Delivery results
- Maintains SOPs with current and proposed new processes
- Completes necessary Activity/KPI Reports for Management
- Coordinates with other departments to facilitate efficient warehouse operations. (i.e. warehouse urgent requests)
- Understand, develop, and implement strategic objectives, capacity status, constraints, needs for growth in support of corporate goals and providing organizational recommendations as required to accomplish these goals
- Develop and maintain company/supplier partnerships based on mutual trust in order to enhance long term and cost-effective availability of materials.
- Establish and implement new, or revisions to, existing procedures to increase and achieve materials management efficiency, asset control, and asset utilization
- Eliminate waste of materials, utilities, staffing, and other company resources wherever possible
- Manage negotiations regarding outside suppliers to ensure adequate product availability, fair pricing, and up-to-date marketplace information
- Continually assess, develop, and staff the subordinate groups with the talent necessary to operate at a high level of accuracy and productivity
- Supervise regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventories to update and compare perpetual computer records
- Drive complex and cross functional supply chain efficiency/optimization projects that result in significant savings to Karoun.
- Develop a strong understanding of company, products, processes, and strategies. Understand the business production and distribution processes of perishable products and develop optimization strategies, to work within the given constraints or opportunities to maximize the benefits for the company.
- Help for developing annual budget related to supply chain and responsible for savings opportunities, tracking and reporting of all projects against annual budget targets.
- Build cross-functional consensus for new projects/opportunities/initiatives. This involves buy in from commercial, manufacturing along with supporting departments like QA, finance, etc.
- Ensure that the company cash flow target is achieved through the achievement of relevant Supply Chain efficiency projects.
- Ensure Service, Safety, and Turn over Levels are on target.
- Track and review warehouse related data, reports and metrics on regular basis and implement process based on the findings to improve process and efficiency.
- Analyze any and all planning related activities on the cost incurred to the company as a whole and not just Supply Chain team and decide on the appropriate course of action.
- Understand the annual budget, 3-yr Plan and work with a long term goal in mind.
- Support the development of supply chain team through project leadership and exposure to sound supply chain principles, including lean.
- Continuously seek ways to improve the existing processes and methods.
- Present data, findings, proposals, etc. to Executive Leadership Team when requested by CEO.
- Travel and / or extended or off work hours may be required

The Membership Growth Consultant (MGC) is an outside healthcare sales representative who’s responsible for generating sales leads and membership by nurturing productive relationships with senior citizens, key local community partners and senior-focused businesses to enroll new patients to ChenMed. MGC is the first of three separate tiers as part of the overall MGC Success Plan and growth career path at ChenMed.The incumbent in this role is developing skills to arrange, design, and orchestrate sales events and to develop fun and cost-effective techniques to keep senior participation and satisfaction high, in part to drive referral sales from satisfied patients to help fuel membership growth. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field preferred OR additional combination of formal education, training and experience above the minimum will be considered in lieu of the education on a year-for-year basis.
- A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience is required. Working with seniors a plus, as is a general understanding of Medicare Advantage
- A minimum of 2 years of business-to-business experience or equivalent management experience preferred
- Relevant sales experience with establishing and maintaining relationships with business/vendor partners
- Experience in telesales to input sales data into a computer while on the telephone with a customer
- This position requires possession and maintenance of a current, valid Driver’s License
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $38,509 to $50,000, along with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
PAY RANGE:
$38,509 - $55,013 SalaryThe posted pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for this position. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for a bonuses or commissions.

As a Central Planner, you will be responsible for the short & mid-term capacity, inventory levels and transportation requirements of assigned product line(s) or replenishment management with the objective of maintaining established finished goods level, meeting customer service goals and efficiently utilizing manufacturing resources.
From your EXPERTISE to ours
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Analyze and prepare reports on plant capacity utilization by product lines.
- Understand KPI (Key Performance Indicators) related to the position, the planning department, and cross functional impacts for best decision for the company.
- Conduct inventory simulations to determine optimal safety stock and inventory levels based on demand and shelf-life constraints.
- Analyze risks of dumps and downgrades and act with CS to minimize or mitigate negative impact.
- Identify problematic SKUs (efficiency, waste risk, volume, labor, etc.) for discontinuation/rationalization.
- Provide finished goods requirements to plant schedulers, monitor production schedules and initiate corrective actions.
- Plan and enter interplant shipment orders for assigned products and/or DCs within inventory standards and lead times.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Finance, Operations, R&D, IT, Quality, Sanitation, Health & Safety, Legal, and other departments to integrate engineering solutions into broader company initiatives.
- Field Installation and Commissioning: Oversee contractors and manage the field installation of processing systems. Ensure that equipment and workmanship meet or exceed project requirements, prepare reports, and manage change orders from start-up through commissioning.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests or Pre-Delivery Inspections at suppliers' sites as needed. Coordinate equipment start-up, commissioning, and training to ensure optimal performance.
- Safety Leadership: Promote and support safety protocols for contractors and team members on all projects.
- Flexibility: Be available for travel and extended or off-hours work as required by project demands.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management, ensuring they align with the engineering focus of the role.

Experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in managing complex projects.
- Prior food industry project management experience - dairy industry is preferred.
Specialized Knowledge
- Significant experience in managing capital projects with a strong engineering component, preferably in the dairy or food industry
- Knowledge of dairy process equipment (HTST, separator, membrane systems, mechanical, electrical and control systems.
- Knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations
- Proficient using Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project and applied use of AutoCAD applications.
- Experience and knowledge of industrial plant construction, codes, practices, and engineering requirements are a benefit.

The Membership Growth Consultant (MGC) is an outside healthcare sales representative who’s responsible for generating sales leads and memberships by nurturing productive relationships with senior citizens, key local community partners and senior-focused businesses to enroll new patients to ChenMed. The incumbent in this role arranges, designs and orchestrates sales events and develops fun and cost-effective techniques to keep senior participation and satisfaction high, in part to drive referral sales from satisfied patients to help fuel membership growth. He/She effectively communicates the ChenMed/JenCare value proposition at all community events.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Nurtures, builds and cultivates direct-to-seniors and business-to-business partnerships to generate new patient opportunities year-round.
- Meets with individual seniors and groups in their homes, workplaces, houses of worship, senior centers or living communities to share the ChenMed value proposition.
- Plans, coordinates and executes local events within the community (e.g., information tables, health fairs, doc talks, etc.) to help reach our ideal patients (i.e., medically underserved, Medicare-eligible seniors, age 55 and older).
- Cultivates strong relationships with health plan agents, individual insurance agents, social workers, case workers, senior housing managers, senior centers and related community providers to keep ChenMed/JenCare Medical Centers as their top provider choice for senior healthcare when referring patients to a primary care physician.
- Partners with community officials, businesses and senior outreach programs to develop initiatives that will appropriately drive new patient growth.
- Schedules one-on-one sales meetings, referral relationships with Plan agents, independent brokers and the senior community to delivers solutions on immediate customer requests. Manages vendors as related to event planning and negotiating contracts with venues where events are taking place.
- Ensures insurance agents and/or brokers are invited to community events to ensure timely patient assignment to ChenMed/JenCare Medical Centers.
- Leverages marketing and sales tools to identify solutions and sell to new customers. Maintains up-to-date client information in designated customer relationship management (CRM) tool (i.e., SalesForce). Utilizes CRM tool to document interactions with clients and ensures effective management of leads.
- Provides monthly activity calendar reflecting community access points and new tabletop venues. Creates penetration plans and initiatives in key target markets and channels.
- Recovers dormant customers via sales tools and marketing campaigns.
- Drives new member growth by appropriately educating potential patients on our value proposition and healthcare model. Delivers prescribed presentation in front of large audiences.
- Develops all distribution channels to support new patient enrollment growth. Uses all sales tools provided to ensure efficiency and collection of pertinent data.
- Partners with sales leadership to improve effectiveness of engagements with distributors, vendors and community partners.
