Park City Surgery Center is seeking a Part-Time experienced OR Circulator RN to join our team in a busy, high-performing orthopedic ambulatory surgery center.

The OR Circulator RN is responsible for providing skilled perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical experience, ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment for patients, physicians, and staff. This role works closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical techs, and leadership to support clinical excellence, patient safety, and smooth case flow.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients in the operating room as the circulating RN
Prepare and manage the operating room for scheduled procedures
Complete pre-operative chart review and ensure readiness for surgery
Perform patient verification, site verification, and participate in time out processes in accordance with facility policy
Maintain sterile and safe surgical environments through adherence to infection prevention and patient safety standards
Anticipate case needs and support efficient workflow throughout procedures
Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, scrub techs, and other team members during the operative experience
Monitor the patient’s condition throughout the procedure and respond appropriately to changes or concerns
Accurately document intraoperative care in the medical record
Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent cases
Support compliance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and quality initiatives
Contribute to a positive, accountable, team-oriented work environment
Qualifications
Current RN license in the state of Utah, or ability to obtain prior to start
Current BLS and ACLS certification required
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
Previous OR circulating experience required
Orthopedic experience strongly preferred
ASC experience preferred
Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practice, sterile technique, and patient safety principles
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities
The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. The RN will function within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, which includes accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients. The ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice provide a basis for the practice of the RN. The RN provides leadership through activities such as preceptor role, informal and formal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts. The RN delegates patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability and availability of resources. Qualifications
Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program, as recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). If graduated from a nursing program that was not accredited by ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA, at least one year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is required.
All entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a RN start date of April 1, 2020 and after must provide documented evidence of program completion of the baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program within five years from the last day of the month of the RN start date.
All entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a RN start date prior to April 1, 2020 must provide documented evidence of program completion of the baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program as stipulated by the degree requirement program in place at time of hire.

Pay Range: $18.50 per hour.
Part-Time Schedule Requirements: Flexible weekly schedule Monday-Saturday between 6:00AM-5:00PM.
Average 25 hours per week, candidates must be able to work the Part-Time schedule requirements on a regular basis.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following: Controls receipt of inventory Receives incoming shipments, checking the packing slip with actual shipment for completeness and accuracy before placement in appropriate warehouse location Identifies and reports all overages and shortages Stocks parts and accessories in correct bin locations Notifies appropriate personnel of receipt of all special orders Performs inventory test counts as directed by management Loads and unloads trucks May operate a forklift to move materials and unload vehicles Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area Maintains CSI at or above company standards Participates in required training Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.

• Proficiency in the use of a computer, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required • Valid Driver's License required, as is the ability and willingness to drive Penske vehicles, up to and including a 26' box truck • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job • As this position requires driving Penske and customer vehicles, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role.
The driver qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last 3 years.
Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMCSA Clearinghouse review.
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, travel as necessary, accurately complete Penske's employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
