Key Responsibilities

• Advise arrangers, sponsors, and investors on deal structuring, formation mechanics, and documentation strategy.
• Draft, review, and negotiate principal transaction documents, disclosure, and ancillary agreements.
• Guide clients through regulatory and compliance considerations impacting structured products and asset-backed lending.
• Manage multi-party deal processes efficiently, coordinating across internal specialists and external stakeholders.
• Provide practical, real-time counsel to clients on market developments, execution risks, and evolving industry standards.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to building internal know-how and client-facing insights.

Top Requirements

• Significant structured finance experience, including deep exposure to CLOs and adjacent rated-note / securitization products.
• Track record advising a range of market participants (e.g., issuers, underwriters, lenders, sponsors, investors) in complex debt or asset-backed transactions.
• Strong command of deal structuring, formation, and regulatory frameworks governing structured finance and asset-backed lending.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with comfort running point on sophisticated transactions.
• Ability to manage multiple fast-moving deals at once while maintaining top-tier precision and judgment.
• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar membership (D.C. admission a plus).

Position Responsibilities:

Level 3

• Develop, integrate and document structural requirements to establish the system design
• Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment
• Guide product design and verify structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
• Develop test plans and configurations, support test execution and analyze/report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• Level 3: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Level 4: 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Experience performing hand calculations, using industry CAD system (NX/Teamcenter), FEM software (ABAQUS, PATRAN/NASTRAN, Stresscheck, Hyperworks)

• Design and engineer building structural systems (steel, concrete, wood, masonry) from concept through construction

The salary range for this position is: $150,000 - $438,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. Responsibilities

• Business Development - Identify,
  cultivate, and manage relationships with prospective clients. Develop and execute
  a strategy to meet or exceed annual new business funding targets. Leverage
  industry networks, referral sources, and marketing strategies to generate a
  consistent pipeline of high-quality leads.
• Sales and Client Relationship Management - Conduct
  in-depth needs assessments to understand client financial requirements and
  present tailored financing solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships
  with referral partners, including brokers, CPAs, attorneys, and industry associations. Represent the Structured
  Finance Division at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to
  promote services and build the division's brand.
• Structuring and Closing Deals - Work

  division's credit policies and risk appetite. Negotiate terms and pricing with

• Market and Industry Expertise: Stay

  factoring and ABL landscape. Provide feedback to leadership regarding market
  conditions and opportunities for product or service enhancements.
• Pipeline and Portfolio Management - Build
  and maintain a robust pipeline with clearly defined stages and next

• Transfer or position work pieces manually by using overhead or jib cranes. Examines and feels surface of work piece for defects. Forklift is an advantage to perform tasks.
  
• Identify and select different type of materials including different grades of metal for fabrication.
  
• Selects grade of abrasive wheel, disk and die grinder bits according to specifications, knowledge of abrasives, and condition of metal, and attaches to grinder.
  
• Ability to pull trigger to start and hold power tool (i.e. chatter gun, die grinder, angle grinder etc.) and move it over surface of work piece to remove weld splatter, high spot, burr, and rust from surfaces of structure components including scratches, laminated metal and excess weld material.
