Saint Alphonsus Behavioral Health Clinic is looking for a Lead Practice Nurse to join their team! In this role, you will provide clinical leadership and support within the clinic and throughout the network. This is also considered a working RN position, meaning you will still provide some patient care, including Triage, working alongside clinic staff.

Typical days include coordination of all back office staff and acting as liaison between support staff, physician and clinic managers/administrators. You will conduct routine staff meetings, scheduling, clinical competencies, staff education, etc. and be responsible for Joint Commission, OSHA, CLIA and State radiological safety standards as well as any other local, state or federal mandates. You will assist in preparing operational budgets yearly, and have authority to purchase day-to-day medical/surgical supplies, as well as helping to assess capital equipment needs yearly.

Schedule: Mon - Friday hours (24 hrs a week), day and hours to be determined.

General Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of nursing experience required, preferably in a physician office setting

• Management experiences a plus

Education:

• An associate or bachelor's degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE

License/Certification:      

• Must have an RN license in the state of Idaho issued prior to hire date.

• Must provide licensure or proof of application in the State of Oregon within six months of starting

• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire

MRI Technologist – Outpatient Ortho Office – Latham, NY - Per Diem

What you will do:

The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic MRI in accordance with departmental standards.

Responsibilities:

• Obtains and records a complete clinical history pertinent to examination requested.
• Evaluates requests for appropriateness; refers concerns to coordinator and/or radiologist.
• Instructs patient as to nature of the exam being performed.
• Effectively communicates with patient throughout exam being performed.
• Follows established scan protocols or radiologist’s special instructions.
• Demonstrates appropriate use of equipment and accessories.
• Selects appropriate technical factors for requested imaging exam.
• Assists in instruction of student technologists and new personnel.
• Demonstrates accurate positioning and insures patient comfort.
• Demonstrates proper screening procedures for contraindication to MRI examination.
• Ensures proper magnetic field safety at all times.
• Demonstrates knowledge of all MRI emergency procedures.
• Provides proper hearing protection to all patients and visitors.
• Effectively completes all required documentation related to patient care, imaging procedures and RIS requirements.
• Documents and reports all incidents, radiation safety concerns and equipment malfunctions to coordinator in a timely fashion.

What you will need:

• AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology
• MRI experience
• Current ARRT registration and NYS license required

Pay Range: $34.50 - $48.81

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

• Ensures that necessary equipment and supplies are present in the patient rooms and on the unit.

Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Patient Care Technician Minimum Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent required. Graduate of a PCT program w/ at least 6 months hospital experience OR CNA graduate plus course completion in EKG & Phlebotomy and PCT certification eligible plus at least 6 months hospital experience, OR PCT Certification through National Healthcareer Association (NHA) w/ at least 6 months hospital experience. BLS or Heartsaver CPR/AED certification. (Issued by the American Heart Association-AHA) OR Heartsaver CPR/AED certification (Issued by the American Heart Association-AHA) is required upon entry to the position Must complete PCT online program within 3 months of hire. Senior Nursing Attendant Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Required. Graduate of Certified Nursing Attendant program or minimum 6 months relevant experience. BLS or Heartsaver CPR/AED certification. (Issued by the American Heart Association-AHA) OR Heartsaver CPR/AED certification (Issued by the American Heart Association-AHA) is required upon entry to the position.
