Position Overviewย 

The unarmed, uniformed security officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly environment at a manufacturing facility. Officers assigned to this position will rotate through multiple security posts and duties throughout their shifts, providing access control, screening, patrol, and general site security support. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to enforce site policies while maintaining positive interactions with employees, visitors, and contractors.ย 

Primary Duties and Responsibilitiesย 

Post Rotation & Access Controlย 

  • Staff the main entry and exit points of the facility, controlling access to authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors
  • Verify identification, badges, and access permissions in accordance with site policies
  • Maintain visitor logs and ensure proper escort procedures are followed when required
  • Monitor inbound and outbound traffic, including employee shift changes and deliveries

Weapons & Intellectual Property (IP) Screeningย 

  • Conduct screening procedures to prevent the unauthorized introduction or removal of weapons, restricted items, or protected intellectual property
  • Enforce company policies related to prohibited items and controlled materials
  • Report and document any violations, suspicious activity, or policy non-compliance

Roving Patrol & Facility Monitoringย 

  • Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility interior and exterior
  • Perform door, gate, and access-point checks to ensure all secured areas remain locked and controlled
  • Monitor for safety hazards, suspicious behavior, and unauthorized access
  • Observe and report maintenance, safety, or security concerns as needed

Surveillance & Incident Responseย 

  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and security systems when assigned
  • Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or calls for service within the facility
  • De-escalate situations professionally and in accordance with training and company policy
  • Prepare clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports

General Security Responsibilitiesย

Cipriani is seeking an experienced and highly discreet Director of Security to lead all security operations across our New York City locations. Position Overview: Embedded Senior Security Officer - Houston, TX (Onsite)


Insite Risk Management delivers bespoke, ongoing physical security programs to both enterprise and private clients. The Senior Security Officer is a fully embedded security resource to be based out of Insiteโ€™s client Houston HQ Office. This individual will be backed by Insiteโ€™s team of multidisciplinary security experts and help oversee the tactical day-to-day efforts of the Insite security program, as well as office-related security efforts. This individual will support the clientโ€™s day-to-day needs as security matters arise that require dedicated security advisement and support.


This position is based in the Houston, TX.


Key Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Security Officer reports directly to the clientโ€™s Manager of Corporate Facilities and Security and the Insite Security Program Lead.
  • Supervising Houston office physical security and serve as a security liaison for Corporate Security, develop relationships with base building management, and local responders and law enforcement during incidents
  • Oversee local application administration of access control system in line with standards developed by the firm (under Insiteโ€™s consulting findings and recommendations)
  • Coordinate with building management to ensure fire life safety drills are performed according to local code requirements and routinely inspect site security posture and take immediate corrective actions, where possible; manage vendor service calls where third-party maintenance is required
  • Carry out on premise passive monitoring and passive surveillance of Houston HQ
  • Serve as a first responder for security incidents in accordance with the clientโ€™s Use of Force policy (developed by Insiteโ€™s consulting team) and applicable laws.
  • Serve as a first responder to medical emergencies, providing immediate assistance and rendering first aid, CPR, or AED assistance in accordance with training, certification, and applicable regulations.
  • Assist with onsite or local special events and provide executive protection liaison for high profile visitors
  • Effectively communicate with users in a timely manner regarding all requests to ensure appropriate expectations are established
  • Assist in the coordination of day-to-day vendor entry/access to the office buildings through the designated building management request and service ticket tools/software
  • Develop a working knowledge of client work processes, workplace culture and policies essential for effective service delivery to users
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives, as needed
  • Assist Insiteโ€™s Security lead with annual reviews and refreshes of office assessments

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Armed and current license
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree required
  • 4-6 years of law enforcement or security or Military
  • Solid knowledge base across physical security domains including: physical security assessments; threat assessment and management; and critical event planning and response; and security training
  • Experience in one or several physical security domains. Hands-on familiarity with security technologies for access control, video management, intrusion detection, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and coordinating with law enforcement

The starting salary for this role is $86,000 to $102,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the role:

Oversees PenAir Credit Unionโ€™s fraud mitigation strategies and physical security program, ensuring effective risk reduction practices and timely deployment of loss prevention initiatives. Reviews industry and regulatory developments to identify gaps, recommends improvements, and establishes metrics to monitor fraud trends. Collaborates across departments to strengthen overall program effectiveness.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of new & pending laws that will affect the Credit Unionโ€™s operations. Maintain a working knowledge of Credit Union services including debit and credit cards, ATM, ACH, draft, and wire processing, BillPay, account to account, person to person, etc..
  • Manage the development, testing, and implementation of new fraud rules and strategies to improve program performance and mitigate loss, while monitoring, analyzing, and communicating fraud trends and losses to staff and management. Recommend procedural enhancements across departments based on dispute and case analysis to strengthen overall fraud mitigation efforts.
  • Oversee all aspects of the Physical Security program & building projects. Respond to all security violations as required by regulation or credit union security policy. Coordinates with appropriate law enforcement agencies, financial institutions, vendors, & auditors.
  • Assist in supporting daily operations related to fraud management. Coordinates and communicates with appropriate departments to ensure they are adequately informed and trained in fraud detection and prevention best practices.
  • Hires, reviews, schedules, trains, and monitors the work of direct reports, conducts performance reviews; allocates resources to meet operational needs within the department; implements change based on departmental performance and/or internal recommendation; manages escalations and complaints.

Experience
