Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN
- Cath Lab Job Details:
- Preference for 36 hours per week with flexible scheduling options of 4x10 or 3x12 hour shifts
- Shift times available: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Weekend, holiday, on-call, and callback responsibilities as needed
- Charge nurse responsibilities per unit needs
- Work in 4 catheterization labs and 3 electrophysiology labs providing care for adult and pediatric patients
- Provide pre and post procedural care in holding areas
- Collaborate with cardiovascular technologists in a comprehensive program model
- 2 years of catheterization lab experience required
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), moderate sedation training, dysrhythmia, and telemetry
- Must have experience with TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures
- Experience required in right and left heart hemodynamics, cardiac interventions, CTO, PCI, pericardiocentesis, vascular interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, and FlowTriever
- Mechanical circulatory support experience required: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD
- Structural heart experience required with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, valvuloplasty, and ASA
- Critical care or cardiac experience required
- New York RN license required
- Cardiovascular certification or RCES preferred
- Familiarity with device and ablation procedures and equipment preferred
- Electrophysiology lab experience preferred Facility: This major academic medical center operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization program serving the upstate New York region.

The facility features state-of-the-art procedural labs focusing on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients.

The program emphasizes excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction through a collaborative practice model with experienced nursing staff and cardiovascular technologists providing both inpatient and outpatient procedural care.
