The ‘Assessor – Project CYPHER’ is embedded within Amazon and is responsible for conducting comprehensive facility assessments, collecting data, and documenting cyber-physical assets across Amazon's Corporate facilities. This role combines technical acumen with project management skills to ensure accurate digital documentation and modeling of facility infrastructure.

About the Job: The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in leading a customer focused, top-line sales driven, profitable and productive store location. The Assistant Store Manager must also inspire and motivate others by exhibiting core value behaviors-including a customer focused selling culture, and ensuring the execution of the Store's KPl's. Assistant Managers also must hold store employees accountable to following all policies and procedures.

A day in the life, what you'll be doing:

The role you'll play to create success

We are eager to announce a Sr. GL Claims Representative position filled with many exciting opportunities! This job contributes to the mission of FrankCrum by adjusting an inventory of low to moderately complex general liability claims and assisting in establishing the best and most cost-effective strategy for handling this type of claim.

  • Investigate, evaluate and bring to timely resolution an inventory of low to moderately complex general liability claims of which some are litigated and may involve large property damage, bodily injury, inland marine and a sub-set of construction defect type claims in accordance with established claim handling standards and applicable state regulations and laws.
  • Understand general liability coverage issues and can analyze and interpret commercial policy language in conjunction with specific facts of loss to reach appropriate coverage decisions and effectively communicate the company's coverage position verbally and in writing including reservation of rights and denial of coverage letters
  • Compose a variety of other written communications to insureds, claimants, attorneys and agents in a professional and error-free manner.
  • Understand and interpret construction contracts and apply risk transfer when appropriate.
  • Evaluate and document damages to ensure accurate and timely reserves; immediately escalate to management cases with potential exposure above your authority.
  • Negotiate effectively and in good faith to achieve fair and accurate claim settlements.
  • Manage litigated claim files proactively from inception to closure, including collaboration with defense counsel to determine and execute an appropriate plan of action; bring litigated cases to resolution either by negotiated settlement or trial, as appropriate.
  • Negotiate the duty to defend and indemnify with liable insurers when appropriate.
  • Retain experts and vendors to achieve appropriate claim outcomes while remaining mindful of loss adjustment expenses.
  • Manage assigned workloads effectively to achieve quality and quantity production goals while providing superior customer service.
  • Implement strategies to expeditiously close files and manage claims to a conclusion in the most effective manner possible.
  • Document all notes and file activity in a paperless claim system appropriately and clearly; compose detailed periodic reports including claim summary reports and large loss notifications, as needed.
  • Communicate with other departments regarding developments on specific claim files as well as overall claim trends.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of reserving requirements and philosophies and can maintain appropriate reserves on all assigned claim files.

The attributes we seek

Keys to success in this position include an understanding of commercial lines products, policy language, exclusions, ISO forms, and effective claim handling practices, as well as a moderate level of knowledge and skill in claim handling and litigation management. Five (5) or more years of experience in adjusting commercial liability claims, with a proven record of increasing responsibility, appropriate claim outcomes and excellent customer service is required. College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent are needed. Must hold Proper Public adjuster licenses in Florida and/or Texas and other states with the ability to obtain additional licenses as needed.

Job Description

Typical Duties:

  • Provide unarmed security services on foot or by vehicle to perform customer service, fare inspection, and civil enforcement actions across the entire alignment.
  • Lead interactions with the public and customers from a customer service approach while trained and prepared to adopt a security or civil enforcement posture.
  • Identify and report security and safety violations.
  • Inspect 20% of all fares system-wide each day.
  • Monitor the system for the possibility of public disturbances.
  • Issue civil citations for violations of transit-related ordinances and testify in court regarding those ordinances, if necessary.
  • Assist in emergency situations, including, but not limited to, special events, crowd control, service interruptions, collisions, and fire or life safety incidents.
  • Exercise the Agency's civil authority to enforce the removal of individuals who are trespassing on Agency property, with the assistance of local law enforcement when necessary.
  • Notify law enforcement of any illegal activity, provide a documented account of all activity witnessed, and assist law enforcement as required.
  • Take prompt action to address security incidents and, to the extent observed, accidents, fire, property damage, and safety hazards.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

U.S. citizen or authorization to work in the U.S.

21 years of age or older.

Valid Arizona State Driver's License, if in a position that requires driving.

Possess a valid security guard license.

Possess current First Aid and CPR certification cards and be familiar with an AED defibrillator.

Free of any job-related felony or major misdemeanor convictions, as determined in accordance with EEOC Enforcement Guidance 915.002.

Education and Experience:

High school graduate or equivalent.

One year experience as a security guard, member of the military, or police officer. Preferred security experience includes forward-facing customer engagement, de-escalation, crisis management, and professional communication. Three years of forward-facing customer service experience may be substituted for one year of the required security experience.

Physical & Mental Requirements
  • Must be fully capable of performing the full range of security work requiring moderate to arduous physical exertion under either normal or emergency conditions. Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of shift hours.
  • Exhibit good general health without physical defects or abnormalities which would interfere with the performance of duties under the contract.
  • Must possess a good distance vision in each eye, correct to 20/30 on the Snellen chart. In addition to that, must possess normal fields of vision, good depth perception, close vision correctable to Jaeger #4 type test of both eyes, and ability to distinguish basic colors.
  • Hearing loss must not exceed 30 decibels in both ears or 35 decibels in the poorer ear.
