We are currently searching for an outstanding individual to fill our Maintenance Supervisor position at our V&S Lebanon Galvanizing facility in Jonestown, PA.
Duties:
- Supervise and oversee the flow of maintenance
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment throughout plant
- Inspect and perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment
- Perform building repairs and maintenance as needed
- Perform hydraulic, motor, and electrical maintenance repair and upkeep
- Clean tools, equipment, machinery & work areas
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment
- Perform and maintain daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspections/logs
Qualifications, Physical Demands, and Work Environment:
- Must be high school graduate /or GED equivalent
- Previous management positions to include supervision of staff
- Minimum of two years relevant experience
- Tolerant to hot and cold environment
- Ability to reach, bend, push, and pull
- Availability to be on call outside of scheduled shift - some weekend work may be required at times
- Experience operating and maintenance of overhead cranes and forklifts is a plus

We are seeking an energetic individual to fulfill the role of Production Foreperson. This is a full time position with potential for career advancement located at our Owego, New York facility - V&S New York Galvanizing LLC.
Responsibilities:
- Drive our culture of safety
- Operate and Maintain a safe and welcoming workplace
- Coordinate manpower between work stations
- Supervise workstations for quality, safety and piece count accuracy
- Responsible for reporting injuries to Plant Manager
- Interface daily with production, maintenance, quality assurance and shipping & receiving
- Coordinates plant schedules through planning to ensure the total production objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner, as directed by the Plant Manager
- Establishes and monitors overall plant performance for production and quality standards
- Collect and review data to reduce inefficiencies and waste
- Ensure that plant operates safely and in compliance with all company and federal/state codes and regulations, with the supervision and assistance of both the Operations and Plant Manager
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and on boarding of new employees
- Evaluate employees and give suggestions for improvement
- Other duties as directed by Plant Manager
Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years of similar, relevant supervisory experience
- Knowledge of the steel industry or protective industrial coatings a PLUS
- Willingness to learn our industry
- Ability to work/manage in a fast-paced environment
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish/Portuguese) a PLUS

JOB SUMMARY:
Collaborates with the health care team using evidence based practice, demonstrating accountability, respect for patients, families and coworkers, while providing safe and optimal patient outcomes. Promotes continuity of care by communicating effectively with interdisciplinary team and family as appropriate. Directs the work of the support staff in the provision of care. Performs general nursing duties using critical thinking skills with minimal supervision. Able to work with the age specific populations according to the setting.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:
v Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred.
v Current Registration and Licensure in the State of Iowa as an RN. Must be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
v Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required. New employees certify within three (3) months after hire date.
v Current ACLS, NRP and STABLE certifications. (New employees should obtain per guidelines of the Education Course Requirements policy.)
v Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
v High degree of empathetic listening skills, tact and kindness toward others.
v Ability to communicate well verbally. Must work effectively as a member of a team.
v Basic computer knowledge
v Technical and critical thinking skills in relation to sound nursing judgment.
