We are looking for a full-time NYC-based Associate Product Manager to support the development and product life cycle across several product categories.


We are looking for an energetic Associate Product Development Manager-CPG who is passionate about delivering quality products to the market in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This individual will be responsible for supporting product managers in key commercialization milestones of the development process. This includes working with internal systems to manage product records, sample requests, product submissions to our licensor partners, and coordinate team-wide initiatives.


You must be highly organized, possess a keen eye for detail, enjoy creating or improving processes to improve efficiency, and the flow of information to relevant parties. You should also be a self-starter and be able to look ahead and anticipate issues based on previous experiences.


Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product managers across all categories, with special focus on disposable tabletop categories.
  • Learn our internal tracking systems and keep all product records up to date with appropriate information.
  • Review product samples and create product submissions to licensor partners.
  • Maintain a digital library of team resources and best practices.
  • Coordinate sample requests across the product development team.
  • Collaborate with the Design, Licensing, and Marketing team on the development of new products and improvements to the product development process.
  • Work directly with the sales team on new opportunities for major retailers.
  • Potential for this role to lead their own small scale product launches.


Requirements

  • Must be NYC-based.
  • Experience in consumer goods (disposable tabletop, cleaning solutions) or pet supplies (grooming & health related products) development and production.
  • Experience with licensed goods is a plus.
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands‑on Product Engineer with both electrical and mechanical engineering experience to lead the technical development of our growing portfolio of small appliances, grooming tools, vibration devices, and battery‑powered products.

This engineer will partner closely with overseas factories (primarily Asia) to ensure that every new product is engineered for performance, safety, manufacturability, and cost. The role spans concept validation through mass production.


Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Engineering

  • Lead engineering efforts across the full product lifecycle: concept → prototypes → EVT/DVT/PVT → production
  • Review and refine mechanical and electrical designs (motors, PCBA, wiring, charging systems, battery packs)
  • Conduct technical tear‑downs, competitive benchmarking, and feasibility assessments
  • Create and maintain technical documentation:
  • Specifications
  • Engineering drawings
  • Test protocols
  • Validation reports
  • ECNs (Engineering Change Notices)

Factory & Supplier Engagement

  • Collaborate daily with overseas factories (China, Vietnam, Thailand, etc.)
  • Guide suppliers on design intent, DFM (Design for Manufacture), and tooling considerations
  • Support pilot builds, pre‑production runs, and troubleshooting during scale‑up

Testing, Validation & Compliance

  • Develop and execute testing protocols for safety, durability, vibration, noise, electrical performance, charging, and reliability
  • Support compliance activities (UL, CE, FCC, CSA, Intertek, etc.)
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCCA) on failures and implement corrective actions

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Development, QA, Supply Chain, and Leadership
  • Communicate technical risks, design changes, timelines, and validation status


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
  • 3–5+ years engineering experience in consumer products, small appliances, personal care devices, electronics, or similar
  • Strong hands‑on engineering background in both mechanical & electrical systems
  • Experience with offshore manufacturing and ODM/OEM development
  • Familiarity with regulatory and safety compliance (UL, CE, FCC, etc.)
  • Skilled in root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to produce clear technical documentation


Preferred / Bonus Skills

  • Experience with:
  • Motors and vibration systems
  • Lithium‑ion batteries, charging circuits
  • Shavers/grooming tools or similar electromechanical devices
  • Proficiency with test equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, electronic loads, spectrum analyzers

Overview


The Chief Roadmap and Innovation Officer will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our global product and innovation roadmap — unifying near-term priorities with long-term disruptive thinking. This leader will anticipate market trends, and bring to life innovations that define the future of consumer experience and product technology.


In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, while fostering a culture of innovation, efficiency, fast and agile excellence. · Oversee the integration of new technologies and best practices in product development to maintain competitive advantage.

· Act as a bridge between the product development team and other departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals, deliverables, and timelines.


 


Innovation & Market Insight:


· Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behavior to drive product innovation and maintain the company's competitive edge.


· Identify and analyze consumer needs and market opportunities, ensuring the product portfolio aligns with evolving customer preferences.


· Build strategic partnerships with vendors, technology providers, and innovation hubs to stay ahead in the industry.


 


Financial & Resource Management:


· Ensure that the most cost-effective way is sought to achieve the relevant primary functions whilst ensuring quality / reliability


· Manage the product development budget, ensuring cost efficiency and high ROI.


· Optimize the product development processes, supply chain, and resource allocation for maximum efficiency.


· Drive P&L ownership of the product portfolio, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.


· Manage talent development, and hiring to ensure the team has the required skills and capacity to execute the product strategy.


 


Risk Management & Compliance:


· Identify and mitigate risks associated with the product development process, including supply chain disruptions, manufacturing delays, and regulatory challenges.


· Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines throughout the product lifecycle.


 


Performance Tracking & Reporting:


· Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product development operations, tracking progress against goals and providing regular updates to executive leadership.

Qualifications / Requirements


The successful candidate will have proven manufacturing / quality leadership experience and the ability to deliver results in larger matrix organizations.


· 15+ years of experience in product development within the consumer products industry (e.g., CPG, electronics, home goods, beauty, apparel, etc.).


· Proven track record of leading product innovation and successful launches at a large-scale company or high-growth brand.


· Strong background in R&D, design thinking, and market-driven product strategies.


· Experience managing large teams and complex product portfolios.

TheLead Product Designer for our Activation product group will lead and scale design strategy across multiple interrelated product lines within our larger suite of industry-leading digital solutions. This role is ideal for a strong design individual contributor who leads by example and is highly collaborative, thriving at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution. We're looking for someone who is curious, passionate and ready to grow in bringing a systems-thinking mindset to complex product ecosystems.


As a product design lead, you will execute and advocate for improved quality of design standards across the team, and mentor a team of diverse designers. You will champion user-centered design practices and ensure a cohesive, state-of-the-art experience across products. You will report into the Director of Product Design, supporting and leading a team designers across UX/UI and creative direction needs. Responsibilities

Design Execution and Leadership



  • Actively design for multiple subproducts in the Activation product group, identifying common themes and identifying best-practice assets, templates and components for the product group
  • Provide hands-on feedback and creative direction to team members on key projects, particularly those with high strategic importance
  • Champion human-centered, accessible, inclusive and ethical design practices
  • Work with the Director of Product Design on developing forward-looking, holistic design vision across multiple product lines
  • Translate company and product roadmaps into actionable design priorities, ensuring scalability, consistency, and excellence
  • Advocate for design as a strategic advantage across the Activation product group

Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to ship features that are intuitive, elegant, and impactful
  • Act as the design voice in business and scrum meetings, providing insight into customer needs, usability, and experience metrics
  • Work closely with marketing and brand teams to ensure seamless end-to-end user journeys

  • Strong background in the Pharmacy industry with direct knowledge of how Patient Assistance, Vouchers and other pre and post edits work within the Pharmacy claims processing market.
  • Proficiency in agile product development methodologies and tools.
  • History of experience in technical design requirements along with business skills to communicate with leadership on strategy and product direction as well as communicate directly with engineers on detailed requirements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
