Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a strong background in the 12 Volt Distribution, military retailer channels and consumer electronics distribution and established relationships with leading distributors and DMRs, This role will focus on driving revenue growth, expanding market share through these channels, and leading a results-driven sales team.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow accounts in the GekoGear Car Electronics and consumer electronics market.
• Place GekoGear Car Eletronics and consumer electronic lines to 12 Volt Distributors, military retailers, national / regional retailers/ resellers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective partners.
• Provide accurate forecast sales by customer and product
• Track sales performance, analyze industry trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
•Work with closely VP of Business Development, PM teams, Marketing Teams and external/ internal stack holders to achieve sales target
• Impeccable time management and ability to multitask and provide forecasting, pipeline reports and account development strategies for all accounts and opportunities.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and maintain strong partner relationships.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and finance teams to align sales initiatives and optimize results.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or a related field.
• Great passion with car tech products as well as consumer electronic products
• Minimum 2 years of account management experience in the Automotive distribution channels or consumer electronics industry.
• Strong network and familiarity with major distributors and DMRs in the channel.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving channel growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
• Highly self-motivated with a collaborative approach.
• Be able to travel.

Summary:
This position obtains financial data and other documentation for use in paying customer invoices and clearing customer deductions.
Responsibilities:
- Pays and/or clears invoices before customer deducts from client
- Clears deductions / Problem solving / Performing research to resolve client inquiries
- Validate and clear customer audits
- Keeps an organized filing system
- Maintains detailed working knowledge of assigned clients’ policies and procedures and conforms to these requirements
- All of the above is performed through the direction of the account executive and client, whether it be on a Trade Promotion Management (TPM) System (such as AFS, Adesso, Demantra, Quick Base, Siebel, Account Review, Vistex, etc.), telephone systems, or company’s forms
- Other duties as assigned
