Summary:

Demonstrates competence to perform assigned patient care responsibilities in a manner that meets the population-specific and developmental needs of patients served by the department.
Appropriately adapts assigned patient assessment, treatment, and/or care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, age specific and other developmental needs of each patient served.
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, performs duties of a clerical and non-nursing nature on the nursing units. Activities include serving as a receptionist for the unit, transcribing orders and requesting items for patient care, and assisting with maintaining patient, unit, and hospital records.
As a Patient Registrar - Greet all patients as they arrive in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner; Demonstrate and maintain a working knowledge of customer service principles, and departmental expectations regarding customer service. Show concern for patient problems and ensure comfort of the patient while waiting to be registered or seen by the provider. Document in the computer system all necessary demographic, insurance, and financial information. Compile or retrieve scheduled reports from computer system.

Inside Sales Specialist
The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for ensuring continuity between the patients, clinics, community, physician practice and the home setting to maximize patient satisfaction of services. Increasing sales, billed revenue, and new patients in accordance with department goals. Summary: Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse/licensed Nurse, this Job will assist with routine and repetitive patient care activities in a nursing unit.

Cleans, procures and returns equipment and supplies.
Run errands for the unit as required.
Assist Licensed personnel in providing a safe and comfortable environment at all times; replenish patient room with water, linen, and towels, as appropriate.

Identify obvious changes in the patient's condition and take responsibility for reporting those changes promptly to the nurse in charge.

We provide care for cardiac patients who have undergone a cardiac intervention from the cath lab which includes stent placement, pacemaker placement, and diagnostic angiograms.
We also care for the patients who have chosen to undergo Watchman and Mitraclip procedures.
We manage patients with congestive heart failure, NSTEMI, STEMI, pre-CABG, and peripheral vascular occlusions.
We do have patients with cardiac drips and also take medical-surgical overflow patients from the ER.
We have a strong working relationship with our cardiologists and hospitalists.
