  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using logical and systematic methodologies.
  • Routine maintenance including but not limited to field fault analysis, calibration of instrumentation using proper test equipment, component replacement, alignment and calibration to specification.
  • Troubleshoot and repair various equipment to include electronic, digital equipment and AC/DC motors & controls.
  • Fault analysis of hard-wired relay logic, motor control circuits, motor power circuits (single & 3 phase) and common utility/lighting circuits.

Collect production data from field staff including:

Square feet of formwork installed

Tons of rebar installed

Cubic yards of concrete poured

Labor hours per production activity

Maintain KPI dashboards used for project performance tracking

Assist with weekly project performance reporting

Apprentice Labor Tracking

Monitor apprentice hours and ensure proper tracking for reporting purposes

Verify apprentice labor hours are recorded correctly in the job cost system

Coordinate with field staff to ensure apprentice labor requirements are met when applicable

Job Forecasting

Assist with real-time job forecasting based on production data and job cost reports

Track project progress against production targets

Identify potential financial risks early in long-duration projects

Provide support for weekly job cost forecasting reports

Post-Project Analysis

Assist with post-job cost analysis

Compare estimate versus actual project performance

Identify lessons learned for future estimates

Help improve estimating accuracy over time

Intuit Enterprise Suite (Construction Accounting)

Bluebeam (PDF markup and document review)

This role blends hands-on engineering such as site surveys, control panel design, and automation support with internal software development, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.

What You'll Do Conduct site surveys and collaborate with customers and project teams to define technical requirements.

Review bid specs, drawings, and documentation to support accurate project quoting.

Support internal business systems through analysis, coding, testing, and maintenance of applications.

Coordinate resources and timelines for larger system projects.

What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Experience in controls engineering and industrial automation support is preferred.

Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial electrical principles.

Electrical CAD drawing experience (AutoCAD or BricsCAD preferred), CAD macro scripting a plus.

Strong communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Customer-focused mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.

Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
