Job Summary

Perform general and specialized landscape and grounds maintenance activities to include plantings, chemical applications and equipment maintenance. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: supervisor and coworkers. This position typically will advise and counsel: Groundskeepers I. This position will supervise: NA.



Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Maintain trees, shrubs, groundcovers and flower beds (planting, fertilizing, mulching, watering, pruning, etc.)

Job Duty 2 -
Transport equipment and personnel via motor vehicle to and from job sites.

Job Duty 3 -
Perform lawn maintenance to include mowing, line trimming, edging, aeration, fertilization, lime application, etc.

Job Duty 4 -
Maintain landscape and grounds; clear debris, trash, branches and leaves, remove ice, empty trash receptacles, clean storm drains and ash urns

Job Duty 5 -
Apply integrated pest management principles to maintain the Institute's lawn, trees, shrubs, groundcover, and flowers, through cultural practices and chemical use.

Job Duty 6 -
Perform routine maintenance of equipment to include pressure washers, blowers, weed eaters, etc.

Job Duty 7 -
Complete daily grounds maintenance reports.

Job Duty 8 -
May provide or assist in training to new employees.

Job Duty 9 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Job Summary

Assists Tree Surgeon by operating vehicle and equipment while on job site. Maintains and prepares equipment for daily use.This position will interact on a consistent basis with: Facilities Landscaping staff. This position typically will advise and counsel: Tree Surgeons, Operations Managers and Horticulturists. This position will supervise: NA.



Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Operate equipment to include chainsaw, chipper, auger, other power equipment such as water tanks and hand tools.

Job Duty 2 -
Assist tree surgeon with operational and safety issues including running rope, pruning, pruning, pulling and hauling branches, and monitoring site for bystanders and properties.

Job Duty 3 -
Participate in new tree care by assisting Tree Surgeon in planting, watering, fertilizing, staking and mulching. Manually prunes trees to 7 inches per campus standard.

Job Duty 4 -
Perform daily tasks including loading truck, Toro Lift, sharpening chainsaws, operating vehicles, checking fluids, dispensing gasoline and operating radios.

Job Duty 5 -
Assist in campus emergencies including tornado, hurricane, and ice and snow events cleanup.

Job Duty 6 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Operate and maintain power equipment which may include carpet vacuums, canister and tank vacuums, wide-area vacuums, backpack vacuums, spot cleaning machines and other powered equipment

Utilize prescribed safety equipment as required

Job Summary

Perform advanced custodial services and facilitate and/or oversee routine and detailed housekeeping operations to ensure assigned unit/facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner. This position will interact on a regular basis with: staff. This position typically will advise and counsel: staff. This position will supervise.



Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Assign and inspect custodial/housekeeping work and related projects/activities to maintain unit/facility cleanliness levels and appearance

Perform specialized cleaning operations necessary to ensure unit/facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner

Maintain supply inventory necessary to successfully perform routine and detailed custodial services

Lifeguard 1:
  • Must be at least 15 years of age.
  • Must have and maintain current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.

Lifeguard 2:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.

After more than four years of planning and groundwork, the ambitious Tech Square Phase 3 (TS3) initiative is well underway. The Production Supervisor at the 750 facility is responsible for leading daily pressroom operations with a focus on safety, quality, performance, and people development. This role ensures that PPC’s flexographic pressroom operates efficiently and produces high-quality printed materials that meet customer expectations and company standards.


The Supervisor plays a critical role in advancing PPC’s strategic goals of improving Fully Productive Time (FPT), reducing waste, and driving operational excellence through strong floor leadership. This position is accountable for coordinating all pressroom activities on the assigned shift, ensuring that teams operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with work instructions, job tickets, and color/registration specifications.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe and compliant work environment for all team members; enforce all PPE, lockout/tagout, and food safety policies.
  • Lead daily shift huddles reviewing FPT performance, footage targets, safety, and quality metrics.
  • Provide consistent direction and coaching to Operators, Press Assistants, and Operations Leads to meet daily production goals.
  • Monitor all setup, makeready, and run processes for accuracy, waste, and uptime; escalate issues quickly to support departments.
  • Ensure all operators follow documented work instructions, centerlines, and job tickets prior to production start.
  • Review and sign off on all first-off approvals and quality checkpoints (β€œsecond approval process”).
  • Partner with scheduling and staging to maintain readiness and improve flow between press, lamination, and slitting.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, corrective actions, and attendance tracking in partnership with HR.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging Lean and 6S tools to reduce downtime and improve consistency.
  • Train, mentor, and develop cross-functional talent for future growth opportunities within PPC.
  • Serve as Acting Production Manager when management is offsite or unavailable.


Required Experience and Skills

  • 3–5 years of production supervision or shift leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of FPT, setup reduction (SMED), and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, train, and develop diverse production teams.
  • Excellent decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Mechanically inclined with solid press troubleshooting and setup experience.
