As a Senior Account Executive at 360PR+, you are a go-to media relations expert, particularly in the consumer food and beverage space. You:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consumer, lifestyle, wellness, food & beverage, retail, and pop culture media, understanding what motivates editors and how to tailor stories accordingly
  • Lead media outreach efforts and plans to guide your team to success in securing coverage with a focus on quality, relevance, and reach
  • Prepare spokespeople for media opportunities, including drafting talking points, briefing documents, and conducting prep calls
  • Monitor media landscapes and identify reactive and proactive opportunities including newsjacking, trend-driven pitches, and timely commentary


You are also taking on more of a leadership role and beginning to embrace the bigger, more strategic picture of client campaigns and other programming. You are building a stronger relationship with clients, establishing yourself as a more senior point person who possesses a solid grasp of their business and communications objectives. You are honing your presentation skills with clients and in new business pitches. You artfully combine your nose for details, deadline-driven approach, and high standards to produce results with a new level of creativity in your work and strategy in your thinking.


What You’ll Do

  • Act as a team liaison between junior staff and senior managers, adeptly managing both up and down to ensure your team is in synch and in harmony
  • Possess strong media skills with a proven ability to develop and execute high-impact, creative strategies that capture national media attention for your clients
  • Drive day-to-day activities, revealing your project management acumen, assigning initiatives to junior staff, and ensuring output meets your gold standard, with deadlines fastidiously met and results exceeding expectations
  • Serve as an inspiring role model, igniting the growth of junior staff, helping them refine their skills and take on new challenges so they are poised for promotion


What You’ll Bring

  • 3-4 years of PR experience, preferably in an agency setting and for national CPG brands
  • Proven ability to build relationships with media and secure earned media coverage.
  • Strong writing skills with experience developing press releases, pitches, and client materials.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting and executing media relations initiatives and activations.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving client needs.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset.

As an Account Executive at 360PR+, you are fully entrenched in agency life, with direct responsibility for a variety of day-to-day activities including playing a prominent client-facing role. You’ll have an opportunity to play a key role in developing and executing media strategies, events, and more for consumer and lifestyle brands across a variety of sectors. Your positive, energetic attitude and proactive “modus operandi” demonstrate that you avidly seek new challenges and embrace new assignments for clients and the agency. What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key consumer, lifestyle, wellness, food & beverage, retail, and pop culture media contacts, understanding what motivates editors and how to tailor stories accordingly
  • Monitor media landscapes and identify reactive and proactive opportunities including newsjacking, trend-driven pitches, and timely commentary
  • Correspond regularly with clients to provide updates on campaign progress and results, with the mentorship of more senior staff
  • Create compelling content – from strategic client correspondence to creative pitches and press and influencer materials – all with an eye to detail and storytelling
  • Drive highly organized day-to-day activities such as media tours and brand ambassador programs
  • Share your know-how and lessons learned with AAEs, ACs and interns, as well as peers across the agency, to help further their growth, as well as your own

We have an exciting, career-growing opportunity for an Account Director to join our team in either our Boston or NYC office.


The successful candidate will have a track record of success developing and implementing creative and integrated campaigns as well as always-on strategies that drive earned media results and influencer engagement, as well as elevating clients as thought-leaders. Here are some of the qualifications we are looking for:


  • An entrepreneurial program-driver and strategic media leader who brings experience developing and implementing earned media-focused plans for CPG clients, in particular for food & beverage brands
  • Ability to lead client relationships and move client campaigns forward in a resourceful and self-driven manner
  • A polished and persuasive presenter with the ability to think on your feet and field challenging questions, excited for the opportunity to participate in the pursuit of new business and organic growth for your clients
  • Experience working with C-suite level executives, placing clients' internal key opinion leaders and external third-party spokespersons in national business and agenda-setting media, preparing them with key messages and Q&As
  • A curiosity for learning about clients' businesses and industries, translating and articulating learnings to creative lifestyle and nuanced business pitches
  • A proactive trend spotter, mapping client stories to cultural moments
  • A solid base of relationships with national broadcast, lifestyle and business media
  • Ability to develop and write media strategies as well as annual and quarterly PR plans with clear KPIs
  • A desire to mentor other staff, cultivating their careers, too
  • Brings attention to detail, for plans and tracking and reporting results and with team members
  • Collaborative and enjoys the juggle and fast pace of agency life
  • Desire to grow with us long-term
