As the Distribution Team Lead, you will own a set of critical tasks and functions as part of the daily execution of distribution work and training.

As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing workflows across the facility, directing labor, moving resources, administrating work in our various systems, and generally managing the daily operations.

As a trainer, you will own the training for new and experienced distribution team members, including new hire training, efficiency coaching, certification and recertification, etc.

In all functions, you will partner with distribution leadership to plan daily and weekly labor needs, ensure we meet our daily operational goals, evaluate and refine existing training programs, build training for new processes and initiatives, monitor and impact training effectiveness, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.

Locations: We have an opening at our Neenah facility.

Shift Times: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with flexibility to come in earlier or stay later based on business needs. Overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Executing staffing plans/adjustments as needed to ensure operational goals are met daily; escalating concerns and issues to leadership when necessary
  • Planning, allocating, and coordinating all activities in the consolidation zone
  • Monitoring order changes/revisions/removals planning and executing necessary order adjustments in SAP/eWM system including assigning work for completion.
  • Coordinating with the Customer Service and Transportation teams to fulfill urgent delivery and will call requests.
  • Coordinating all BTS Display Orders SSCC labeling requirements. Planning, Staging, & executing shipment plans
  • Printing end-of-day packing slips and performing end-of-day reconciliation to validate the successful fulfillment of orders.
  • Ensuring an organized work area is maintained and that all documents, both digital and paper, are easily retrieved
  • Maintaining and providing timely and accurate information for various stakeholders including purchasing, vendors, security and internal leadership. Includes updating various MS Excel Worksheets to ensure data integrity and efficient operations.
  • Adhere to all environmental and safety policies.

Training:

  • Develops, refines, delivers, and manages all new hire classroom and hands-on training for the Warehouse, including new hire progress checks and certification within the first 90 days.
  • Develops, refines, delivers, and manages new hire training/certification (classroom and hands-on) as well as recertification for experienced team members in the Warehouse.
  • Develops, refines, delivers, and manages cross-training for Warehouse roles.
  • Maintains Skills Matrix to ensure accurate records of capabilities and versatility for effective operational planning.
  • Identifies and drives best practices to increase the effectiveness of the training program.
  • Partners with Supervisors to identify process opportunities for experienced team members to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Partners with Supervisors to roll out and train new processes and initiatives as needed.
  • Recertifies experienced team members on systems, equipment, functions, safety and procedures.
  • Participates in the development and revision of SOP's and Job Instructions to ensure consistency, efficiency and safety.
  • Ensures all training documents, materials and processes adhere to company SOP's and policies.
  • Capable of contributing in all outbound activities as needed, including picking, replenishment, loading, etc.

Education and Experience:

  • Desirable relevant work experience includes 2+ years of distribution administration (Receiving, Picking, Packing, and Shipping) experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, supply chain management/ logistics or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Experience leading training, facilitating meetings, managing operations, and resolving exceptions.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written including the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven record of working independently with little oversight - High degree of initiative and urgency

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher in dental hygiene from an accredited institution
  • Active dental hygiene license in the state of practice
