Responsibilities:
- Data entry of electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions as per Blink protocols
- Handle provider/physician communications including, but not limited to voicemails, outbound and inbound calls
- Resolve open issues submitted by a variety of departments, including pharmacists, other technicians, and Incident Coordinator team
- Perform all tasks in a safe and compliant manner that is consistent with corporate policies as well as State and Federal laws

Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months prior Pharmacy Technician, or similar industry experience required
- PTCB or NHA certification required prior to joining

What You’ll Do

The Inventory Analyst will regularly purchase inventory for assigned product categories to ensure proper inventory levels in DCs, 3PLs and store locations that align with inventory budgets to meet or exceed sales plans and service levels.
- Ensure sufficient inventory levels in DCs, 3PLs and stores to support each BU’s sales and promotional plans
- Effectively purchase assigned products to meet or exceed service rates and turns
- Monitor placed purchase orders for timeliness and/or date adjustments based on business needs
- Provide timely communication to all Business Units regarding issues or changes with products
- Collaborate with Merchandise Planning and Merchants on OTB plans to ensure purchases align with budget

- Coordinate with Transportation to ensure a smooth inbound flow while minimizing shipping costs

Position Summary
The Senior Merchandise Planner – Candy is responsible for driving financial and inventory planning strategies for the candy category to maximize sales, margin, and inventory productivity. This role partners closely with Merchandising, Buying, Supply Chain, and Finance to develop and manage Open to Buy (OTB), seasonal and promotional forecasts, and long-range category plans. The ideal candidate has deep experience planning candy or confectionery categories, understands seasonality and promotional intensity, and excels in data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Open to Buy Management
- Own and manage Open to Buy (OTB) at a detailed level (department, category, vendor, and SKU).
- Build and maintain weekly, monthly, and seasonal OTB plans aligned with sales, margin, and inventory targets.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities within OTB and recommend actions to optimize inventory flow.

Inventory Management & Analysis
- Monitor inventory health (weeks of supply, sell-through, turnover, aging).
- Identify and resolve overstock and understock risks through rebalancing, markdowns, or exit strategies.
- Recommend markdown strategies to optimize sell-through while protecting margin.
- Ensure inventory levels support service level and in-stock goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a strategic partner to Buying, Supply Chain, Allocation, and Finance.
- Align forecasts with supply chain constraints, lead times, and vendor minimums.
- Present financial plans, forecasts, and performance recaps to senior leadership.
- Mentor and guide junior planners or analysts as applicable.

Duties and Responsibilities
As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
Typical assignments include:

Education Substitution: A bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; OR
Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of general work experience AND successfully completed college education. This will be calculated using your resume and official or unofficial transcripts submitted with your application.

Provides administrative leadership and overall direction to the Quality, Patient Safety, Regulatory and Infection Control functions.
Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative leadership and overall direction to the Quality, Patient Safety, Regulatory and the Infection Control functions
- Serve as the senior internal consulting resource for clinical measurement, analysis and reporting
- Develop, implement, or utilize appropriate existing system data management capability that supports clinical program initiatives, decision support and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrate a collaborative leadership role in the External Regulatory Survey process, to ensure compliance and continual readiness for accreditation and licensure surveys
- Provide leadership and preparation for Regulatory Compliance including DOH Licensure and Joint Commission Accreditation Surveys
- Serves as the local leadership contact, in conjunction with Patient Safety staff, for the UPMC Risk Management department and collaborates as such
- Provide administrative oversight for Infection Control including surveillance, data collection, education, and collaboration to reduce HAI's
- Provide collaborative leadership on a consistent basis that smooth the interface points within the complex matrix environment that includes UPMC, employed physicians, private practice, and multiple clinical sites
- Effectively participate and engage in activities to support and achieve organizational strategic goals including an analysis of quality programs and patient care outcomes
- Demonstrate an interactive leadership style that influences thinking and reshapes the quality environment
- Implement programs and activities, which support the organization's quality goals. Provide oversight for all appropriate UPMC pay for performance programs
- Serves as Facility Contact for PHC4 and PHCQA

- Demonstrate initiative to address complex, high-risk problems and translate them into opportunities and challenges with all levels of management
- Make decisions and evaluate outcomes with adequate knowledge, information and consideration of physician stakeholders and members of all departments
- Manage all human and financial aspects of the department to assure that standards for quality and cost effectiveness are met. Prepare annual man-hours; expense and capital budget for responsible cost centers based on an analysis of needs of patients, clinical programs, staff and physicians
- Ensure budgetary standards/expectations are met by monitoring and maintaining expenses and man-hour utilization. Complete performance reviews to maintain compliance
- Collaborate with professionals across UPMC to identify and support joint educational opportunities to change clinical practice. Active participation on System Quality, Safety, Regulatory and Infection Control teams
- Works collaboratively with CQSI to ensure current and future obligations are met with respect to Public Reporting of quality outcomes
- Provide input into CQSI data analytics development and reports
- Assume leadership role in the development of process improvement opportunities related to changes in clinical practice to support organizational goals. Apply innovative and creative skills to ensure that the process improvement opportunities are identified and addressed as well as meet the needs of quality and safety goals, and meets regulatory guidelines
- Coach and advise professional staff in the formulation of their development plan
- Recommend changes to policies and procedures to senior leadership. Provide oversight of Policy and Procedure Committee and the revisions and improvements to the process
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, as assigned, in the development and ongoing progress of clinical outcomes to achieve organizational objectives of reducing resource utilization while promoting quality patient outcomes
- Develop relationships and integrate all team members including physicians into the team's work. Report program findings, results, and changes at various settings and meetings. Form relationships with various setting in the continuum of care based on program issues/work
- Conduct an analysis of clinical variance trends and recommendations for clinical practice changes. Investigate and implement creative methods to improve process
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) preferred
Educational and Knowledge Requirements
- Master's Degree required
- 7-10 years Healthcare Related Experience required, with 5-7 years Supervisor Experience preferred Certification in related area of expertise preferred
- Experience with Vizient preferred

- Advanced interpersonal communications skills to assure a collaborative positive culture of quality and safety
- Knowledge of various aspects of quality and process improvement through IHC, IHI, Lean Systems management and other techniques
