Practice Highlights:

What You’ll Do

- Maintain full clinical competency across MRI exams, equipment, and imaging protocols.
- Ensure safe and accurate patient identification and follow all universal protocol standards.
- Review patient history, assess orders, and prepare/label/administer contrast following department guidelines.
- Document patient information thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
- Present relevant clinical details to physicians before imaging to support optimal outcomes.
- Properly code, track, archive, and charge all exams within the RIS and ISITE systems.
- Maintain strict MR safety standards for patients, staff, and equipment.
- Perform required ACR Phantom testing weekly to maintain quality and accreditation standards.

- Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology, or completion of an accredited CNMT, ARMRIT or ARDMS program.

- ARRT registry eligible technologist must obtain ARRT within 6 months of hire date.

- MR registry must be acquired within 18 months of the date the primary registry was acquired.

- CNMT, ARDMS and ARMRIT graduates must obtain MR registry within 12 months of hire date.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

- ARRT registry eligible technologist must obtain ARRT within 6 months of hire date. MR registry must be acquired within 18 months of the date the primary registry was acquired. CNMT, ARDMS and ARMRIT graduates must obtain MR registry within 12 months of hire date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
- CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
- ARRT Certificate OR American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC) OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)
