The Food and Beverage Department at Six Flags Great Adventure has an exciting opportunity available and is looking for candidates to be a part of the Hospitality Management – Food and Beverage Internship Program. Our goal within the Food and Beverage Department is to not only deliver exceptional meals to our guests, but to also assist in making memorable family experiences around our meals while following the Six Flags Mantra. Joining our program will provide you the tools necessary to jumpstart a career within the Hospitality Management world by providing you the knowledge of Back of House and Front of House operation.
Responsibilities: Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Selling food and beverages at outdoor carts and/or indoor restaurants.
Taking and filling orders and being able to multitask.
Preparing and assembling food items in a kitchen area, including the use of a fryer, grill, broiler, and other industrial cooking equipment.
Preparing, handling and serving food products including but not limited to meat, meat products, pork, shellfish, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, and nut products.
Point of Sale Handling, and processing orders properly for the kitchen.
Dispensing and selling alcoholic beverages.
Setting and stocking tables, outdoor carts, and restaurants.
Working with cleaning chemicals.
Working independently or as part of a large team.
Plans for and ensures that all Team Members, facilities, and materials are in complete readiness for daily operation.
The opening and closing duties, along with identifying and reporting repair and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
Remain in strict accordance with the Department of Health and Beverage Laws.
Ensure adequate stock of supplies and also consistently maintain venue inventory.
Manage food, beverage, and non-labor costs through proper hands on monitoring.
Qualifications: Qualifications for each applicant:
Must be at least 18 years old by program start date
Must be professional, outgoing, energetic, self-motivated, and able to motivate others, and have a positive attitude.
Have open availability
Work a minimum of four days of the week, two being weekend days (Friday-Sunday)
Work a shift that will at minimum be eight hours
Willing to work at minimum thirty-two hours a week
Be open to Bi-Weekly/End of Program Evaluations

Responsibilities: · Greet guests in a friendly, professional, and helping manner
· Pickup, transport, and drop off Resort guests to and from Resort, Theme Park, Water Park, Safari, and guest parking lot
· Safely load, unload, and transfer luggage in and out of vehicles
· Converse with guest while providing information on the property, resort, and amenities offered
· Maintain cleanliness of transportation vehicles, work location, property, and hotel perimeter
· Transport guest and luggage from Resort Lodge to their accommodations
· Tags articles and stores luggage in an organize manner
· Ensure the appropriate amount of transport vehicles and seats are available prior to guest arrival based on reservation size
· Communicate guests needs and information to Front Desk staff in a timely manner
· Supplies guests with travel information, such as transportation information, routes and schedules
· Act as a runner for Front Desk team as needed
· Assists other departments as needed
Qualifications: · 18 years or older
· Adhere to Six Flags Great Adventure Resort Driving Policies
· Must have Valid driver’s license in good standing and pass the Six Flags Driving Test
· Operate the Front Desk system to confirm arrival times, reservation size, and complete vehicle registration
· Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods of time
· Must be a friendly, outgoing “people” person with a good attitude and smile
· Utilize a radio to communicate information in a timely manner
· Compliance with communication protocols for telephone and email
· Ability to remain organized and plan accordingly based on information provided by guests
· Possess ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
· Possess ability to remain calm and professional in all situations
· Knowledgeable in all hotel, Theme Park, Water Park, and Safari hours of operation & offerings
· Must be able to work mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and other shifts as necessary

· Must maintain a strong commitment to safety.
Pay Rate: $18.25/Hour
Responsibilities: Promote the sale of products with impeccable guest service and ensure guest satisfaction
· Strive to continuously gain knowledge of product offerings and the Six Flags brand.
· Resolve Guest concerns that may arise on a daily basis.
· Assist in training, motivating and coaching of staff on a day to day basis to ensure team quality standards.
· Assist in ensuring that all policies and procedures pertinent to area are followed.
· Ensure that image, cleanliness and courtesy standard requirements are met including abiding by and enforcing the company dress code policy and set high standards of performance for all areas within their responsibilities.
· Maintain proper attendance and timeliness.
· Will be required to use POS register systems to complete sales transactions.
· May be required to work in multiple locations throughout the park.
Qualifications: Previous Retail, Customer Service or Hospitality experience of at least (1+) years is required.
· Complete any and all tasks as requested by Six Flags Management
· Must be at least 18 years old.
· Must be available to work minimum of 32 hours a week.
· Available to work flexible hours on nights, weekends and Holidays based off of business needs.
· Requires lifting, sitting, standing, walking, bending, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech.
· Requires using a telephone or radio communication device in a professional manner.
· Required to work in various areas and different locations on the property while maintaining company and department standards.
· Refrain from consuming any substance that may impair judgment.
Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a times and as many as 14 hours a day.
Must be able to walk up to 3 miles per day over various surfaces.
Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs over 25 feet over various surfaces.
Must be able to lift and lower 5 lbs above shoulder level.
Must be able to climb a stepladder or ladder up to 6 ft. in height
Must be able to work outdoors or in extreme heat, cold, sun, humidity, including temperatures below freezing.
Must be able to handle heavy duty cleaning of dirt, dust and other elements within their assigned locations.

Ability to work in an environment as fast-paced as our water slides.
Will complete and maintain Ellis and Associates training and certification.
Pass certification tests with 100% accuracy.
Understand basic rescue techniques, first aid, and CPR.
Qualifications: Must be 15 years or older for a Shallow Water License.
Must be able to pass pre-requisite skills: Swim a distance of 50 yards, retrieve a 10lb brick from a depth of 5ft, and swim a distance of 10 feet underwater for Shallow Water License.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities: Handle various ticket transactions including but not limited to, advanced sales, group sales, complimentary tickets, season passes, promotional tickets, and ticket problem resolution.
Handle all Guest concerns including but not limited to, park information, compliments, and complaints received via phone, email, or in person.
Utilize multiple strategies in order to obtain the result and provide the best Guest Recovery to the guest.
Able to work with computer programs for various Six Flags programs and applications. Must be able to multi-task between multiple programs in order to resolve the task at hand.
Answer guest questions and give proper guidance when necessary.
Offer appropriate compensation based on the guest's concern.
Promote the park with the utmost enthusiasm and pride while interacting with Guests.
Ensure Guest Safety and Satisfaction in their stay at Six Flags while setting high standards of performance for all areas.
Ensure that imagine, cleanliness, and courtesy standard requirements are met.
Develop a positive relationship with all in-park departments.
Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years old.
