Hospitalist Physician Job near Milwaukee, WI A large practice in WI is seeking a Hospitalist to join its growing team.

Schedule is 7on/7off (7am-7pm) with the help of three other hospitalist.

Daily, average of 17 patients per physician.

Procedures are not required by Hospitalist, but a modest level of comfort with ICU patients and vent care is expected as intensivist/pulmonologist coverage is not 24/7.

JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Physician Assistant will be a key individual to our practice in providing exceptional care to our patients. This opportunity will include, working both in our ambulatory surgery center, as well as the clinic setting. All activities must be conducted in a confidential, professional and personable manner. The individual also needs to be capable of performing as sole staff support for office as needed. Performs other duties as needed.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of a Physician assistant program required
• ACLS/BLS/CPR certification preferred
• 3-5 years' related work experience required
• Able to read; write legibly; speak in English, with professional quality; use computer and software programs necessary to the position; troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment
• Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; work independently with minimal supervision; perform basic math functions; manage multiple assignments effectively; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail
• Able to perform any other tasks as assigned
