JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Administers basic and advanced life support measures in accordance with established policies and procedures; provides transportation to victims of medical or traumatic emergencies to a medical facility; participates in other forms of emergency care and medical rescue as needed; does related work as required.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: An employee in this class performs highly responsible work involving the delivery of out-of-hospital basic and advanced life support services by responding to scenes of medical and traumatic emergencies, evaluating patients, and providing safe transportation to an appropriate medical facility with continuous care. Additional duties include the daily inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of the assigned emergency vehicle, supplies, and equipment with minor housekeeping duties as required. This employee must be capable of performing advanced life support procedures defined by the State of Delaware paramedic scope of practice, and not undertaken by emergency medical technicians, through written standing orders and protocols, or through direct contact with a medical control physician via telephone and/or radio communications. Candidates with appropriate credentials as determined by New Castle County and the State of Delaware Office of Emergency Medical Services and the State Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline, or its designee, may be exempt from the requirement of completing the Delaware Paramedic Education Program provided they achieve the required State certification within the probationary period. EXAMPLES OF WORK: (Illustrative only)
- Responds to requests for emergency medical assistance and assumes responsibility for assessment and treatment of patients consistent with departmental procedures, State-wide standard treatment protocols and standing orders, and instructions provided by a medical control physician;
- Lifts, carries, and transports sick, injured, or incapacitated persons from residential and commercial properties and accident scenes to medical facilities while providing constant observation and care as indicated or directed;

PROBABLE WEIGHTING OF EXAMINATION: Candidates must pass an examination required for entry into the paramedic training program to continue in the process. A written examination, a comprehensive background investigation to include an oral board interview examination, an evaluation of training and education, or any combination of the above, may be used to determine placement on the eligible list. Candidates must also pass a qualifying fitness test. Successful candidates will be hired by New Castle County and entered in a paramedic training program, where students must maintain passing grades, remain enrolled in the paramedic training program and achieve certification as both a Nationally Registered and Delaware paramedic. The probationary period will end six months after Delaware paramedic certification has been achieved following release to full duties as a paramedic, to include a field evaluation and certification process.

In Texas, there is a judicial process for validating the Gestational Contract (the contract between the intended parents and the surrogate). Included within the various requirements for having a Gestational Contract validated by a Texas court is that the intended parents must be married and the surrogate must have previously carried a child to term. Additionally, there are residency requirements that apply to either the surrogate or the intended parents, but not both.
Compensation for a surrogate services generally starts in the range of $35,000 - $40,000, for base compensation with over all fees up to 70k, in many cases. The amount of compensation is dependent upon a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, whether the surrogate carries twins, what procedures a surrogate is required to undergo and whether the delivery is vaginally or by cesarean section.

- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.

- Experience operating or supervising CNC woodworking equipment.

Mayzon is seeking a bilingual detail-driven HR Coordinator to support our Delaware manufacturing facility. This role provides hands-on exposure across human resources administration, employee relations support, compliance management, recruiting operations, and HRIS data management in a fast-paced production environment.

What Youβll Do
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage full-cycle hourly recruiting support including job postings (LinkedIn, Indeed, ATS platforms)
- Coordinate interviews and candidate communication
- Prepare offer letters and onboarding documentation
- Conduct new hire orientation and complete I-9, E-Verify, and employment eligibility verification
- Support background screening and pre-employment compliance
HR Operations & Payroll Administration
- Maintain employee data integrity within HRIS (Paycom, Paylocity, or similar systems)
- Generate HR reports including headcount, turnover, attendance tracking, and workforce metrics
Compliance & Benefits Administration
- Support compliance with FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, OSHA, and state labor laws
- Assist with leave administration, workersβ compensation documentation, and return-to-work coordination
- Support open enrollment, benefits communication, and benefits data processing
Employee Relations Support
- Serve as first-line HR contact for policy interpretation and employee questions
- Support employee engagement initiatives and retention programs
Qualifications
- 1β3 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, Payroll Administration, or Talent Acquisition Support
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or industrial environment preferred
- Working knowledge of employment law compliance, wage and hour regulations, and timekeeping systems
- HRIS experience (Paycom, Paylocity, or similar)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data accuracy management
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
