Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a full-time itinerant role supporting students across multiple campuses within a well-established school district in Irvine, California. This position requires providing in-person services and travel between schools during the school day to effectively meet the needs of various age groups in an educational setting.
Location: Irvine, California
Assignment Period: August 13, 2026, to November 15, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday during school hours
Position Type: Contract, School-Based Physical Therapist (Itinerant)
Responsibilities:

* Deliver direct physical therapy services to students at multiple school sites.
* Administer assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs.
* Collaborate with educators and team members by attending Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.
* Travel between assigned campuses to provide consistent services throughout the district.

Qualifications:

* Active Physical Therapist license for the state of California.
* Required background clearances, including fingerprints for the school district and agency.
* Teaching credential status TBD, pending district confirmation.
* Previous experience in school-based physical therapy highly preferred.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Flexibility and reliability to manage itinerant responsibilities and travel between locations during the school day.
