School Psychologist
The school psychologist will in-person perform diagnostic evaluations for students who are enrolled in our school programs; provide in-service training related to clinical issues to program staff; work with families of enrolled students; design individual and/or group behavior management plans as assigned; provide crisis intervention in classroom; and provide ongoing support and consultation regarding behavioral concerns to program staff.

Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree and C.A.G.S. from a NASP-approved program in school psychology or equivalent.
- Massachusetts DESE Certification as a School Psychologist.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a school psychologist.
- Or Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. in psychology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure appropriate to clinical discipline.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide or arrange for psycho-diagnostic testing of students within the program on a periodic basis.
- Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary evaluation team;
- Act as liaison between the Positive Regard network and other mental health professionals who have direct contact with students.
- Provide crisis intervention to students as needed and assist in making necessary referrals to specialists;
- Provide ongoing consultation to program staff. Plan, develop and implement behavior management plans for individual students and communicate this information and coordinate consistent application of the plans to the appropriate individuals.
- Provide consultation to families regarding psychological testing and treatment and approved behavior management techniques;
- Develop or adapt measurement instruments for use with individuals who are enrolled in our programs.
- Participate in program meetings, case reviews, evaluations and IEP meetings and prepare reports of current progress and needs of the students.
- Provide formal and informal in-service training to staff members;
- Participate in the screening of evaluation of individuals referred for placement and participate on interdisciplinary teams to determine admissions and future programming.
- Provide field placement supervision and act as a mentor to undergraduate and graduate students when requested;
- Prepare reports based on observations and assessments of students;
- Maintains appropriate current records on students.
- Collect and prepare statistical data regarding service delivery as requested.
- Doctoral level Psychologists will also provide diagnostic impressions if and when requested for specific student cases.

The ideal candidate understands manufacturing processes from raw material to finished product and can confidently analyze drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to develop precise job quotes.

Key Responsibilities
Discovery & Initiation
- Partner with Project Sponsors and Functional Managers to develop required Discovery artifacts:
- Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA)

- Prepare materials for Discovery funding reviews.
Planning & Execution
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and all required PM artifacts.

- Build and manage financial forecasts, track variances, identify risks, and submit budget change requests as needed.
Resource & Risk Management

Salary and Duty Location Recruitment Incentives and Benefits
Annual Base Salary for newly appointed CBPOs varies as follows:
GS-9: $61,111 - $124,443 per year
Note: A fully trained CBPO is eligible for up to $45,000 in overtime pay in addition to the starting salary.
Officers are eligible to select from an array of federal employment benefits that include health, dental and other insurance plans, generous annual and sick leave, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan.
LOCATION INCENTIVES: If you accept one of the duty locations listed below, you may be eligible to receive an additional 15%-25% of your salary each year for the first three (3) years of employment in addition to any overtime pay. Some locations may offer 25% for four (4) years.
Duty locations offering 25% recruitment incentives: Otay Mesa, San Francisco, San Ysidro, and Tecate, CA; Key West, FL; etc.
Duty locations offering 15% recruitment incentives: Honolulu, HI; Portal, ND; etc.
Duty location offering 10% recruitment incentives: Calexico, CA
Qualifications:
You qualify for the GS-9 grade level in one of the following ways: experience, education, or a combination of both.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes:
- Detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws and/or arresting violators using the proper law enforcement methods.
- Enforcing laws and regulations relating to importing, exporting, and/or international shipping.
- Utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats.
- Conducting interviews in a law enforcement capacity.
Education Substitution: A master's (or higher) degree or an LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited college or university; OR
Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of specialized experience AND successfully completed graduate-level education.

- Residency: Primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years.
