Private Events Manager
Boulder Ridge Country Club β Lake in the Hills, Illinois
Boulder Ridge Country Club is seeking a polished and results-driven Private Events Manager to support the sales, planning, and execution of weddings, social events, corporate functions, and golf outings. This highly visible role is responsible for generating event revenue, cultivating client relationships, and delivering exceptional experiences that reflect the Clubβs high standards of service and hospitality.
The Private Events Manager works closely with Club leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event execution while continuing to grow the Clubβs presence within the local market.
This position offers a base salary of $44,000β$47,000, plus commission. The Private Events Manager is eligible to earn 1.0%β1.5% commission on qualified private event revenue, with expected total annual earnings of approximately $56,000β$66,000 when budget goals are achieved, and higher earning potential based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new private event and golf outing business through networking, referrals, community engagement, and strategic outreach
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry and club tours through contracting, planning, and event execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members, local businesses, nonprofits, wedding vendors, and community organizations
- Manage and create engaging content on Facebook and Instagram, including posts and reels, and collaborate with vendors to promote and increase awareness of private events at Boulder Ridge Country Club.
- Represent the Club at networking events, bridal showcases, and community functions to build awareness and drive event revenue
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide timely, professional follow-up with prospective and existing clients
- Partner with Golf, Membership, Food & Beverage, and Culinary teams to ensure seamless planning and execution of events
- Prepare event proposals, contracts, and detailed event documentation
- Support marketing and promotional efforts, including social media and digital channels
- Provide on-site coordination and leadership during events to ensure an exceptional client and guest experience
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2β4 years of experience in catering, hospitality, or private event sales
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales and revenue goals
- Experience in weddings, corporate events, golf outings, or private club environments strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Experience with CRM or event management systems preferred
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule
Salary: $40

This role collaborates with a multidisciplinary diabetes management team to educate patients and families living with diabetes and support individualized care plans.
Registered Nurse β Certified Diabetes Educator Responsibilities Deliver diabetes education to patients and families.
Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Administer medications and treatments according to policies and standards.
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Document care in accordance with clinical standards (EPIC EMR).
Support performance improvement initiatives and shared governance.
Provide clinical expertise and guidance across departments.
Act as a patient advocate addressing clinical, psychosocial, and financial concerns.
