Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.

  • Provides timely updates to department leadership when APP performance issues are identified.
  • Supports bidirectional communication between providers and department leadership.
  • Maintains and fosters a practice culture that embraces change and innovation.
  • Represents APPs on their team addressing significant issues and barriers that affect clinical practice, safety, quality, and professionalism.
  • Reviews department new APP candidates and conducts interviews/hiring.
  • Knowledgeable in department APP pay practices, including market analysis, compensation tiers and wRVU thresholds.
  • Participates in review of department physician candidates and interviews.
  • Assists in developing and implementation of department new APP clinic-based onboarding, competency assessment and assignment of appropriate APP mentor.
  • Coordinates service/team as it relates to APP work/call schedules, workload, holiday coverage, time off requests and general staffing.
  • Facilitates and fosters communication to the APP team members through regular written or verbal techniques.
  • Assists in scheduling and teaching APP students during clinical rotations within the department.
  • Leader in monthly department meetings and case review process as per department.
  • Participates in CH committee work.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Extensive knowledge of applicable state regulatory guidelines.
