Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor oversees daily operations within the assembly and molding departments to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality manufacturing. This role provides hands‑on leadership to production teams, monitors workflow, drives continuous improvement, and ensures adherence to production schedules, safety standards, and company policies. This position does not qualify for sponsorship or relocation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise, coach, and develop production team members across assembly and molding operations.
• Assign daily tasks, manage staffing levels, and ensure balanced workloads.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address employee concerns in alignment with HR policies.
• Promote a positive, safe, and productive work environment.
• Oversee day-to-day assembly and injection molding processes to meet productivity, quality, and delivery goals.
• Monitor production lines for proper machine setup, cycle times, material flow, and adherence to work instructions.
• Troubleshoot molding and assembly issues, escalating to maintenance or engineering as needed.
• Coordinate with planning and logistics to maintain production schedule and minimize downtime.
• Experience in automotive, plastics, or high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Technical training or certification in injection molding (e.g., RJG, Paulson).

Job Summary: Must be able to Set-up, maintain, operate and adjust Blanchard grinding machines, Flat, Square & parallel.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, visualize grinding process, and understand the sequence of machining operations required.
• Understand the characteristics of abrasives to select and dress the appropriate grinding wheel.
• Select optimal feed rates, grinding speeds, depths of cuts, etc.
• Inspect and verify dimensions of work piece for conformance to print specifications using measuring instruments such as templates, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauge blocks
• Should be able to operate cranes and forklifts.
• Operate calipers and micrometers to measure steel thickness to one thousandth of an inch (.001”).
• Must be able to operate a Blanchard grinder - 60” magnetic chuck.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on Blanchard equipment.
• Other duties and projects may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED);
• Minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of overhead cranes, Hi-lo, Pallet Jack and other related equipment required to perform the job function.

Job Description:

Build small automotive sub-assemblies.

Fits and assembles components to construct, rebuild, and repair sub-assemblies by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes assembly blueprint and specifications manual and plans machine building operations.
• Verifies conformance of parts to stock list and blueprints.
• Lays out hole locations and drills and taps holes on parts for assembly.
• Aligns components for assembly and bolts, screws, dowels, welds, or rivets parts together.
• Removes high spots, and smooths surfaces.
• Verifies alignment and tolerances of moving parts.
• Tests operation of assembly by hand.
• Assembles, sets up, and operates machine to verify functioning, machine capabilities, and conformance to customer's specifications.
• Build small sub-assemblies and mounting to bases.
• Welding small parts for the sub-assemblies.
• Identifying parts on prints for build purposes.
• De-burring, stamping, and painting of sub-assemblies.
• Building guarding around projects.
• Machining (drilling, tapping, lathe work, Bridgeport, etc)
• Provide cost to complete estimates bi-weekly.
• Update resource charts daily.
• Log rework at the time of the rework.
• Participate in "Go fast” and Kaizen events.
• Keep work areas clean, maintain 5S and safety.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or general education diploma (GED);
• Minimum of Three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of basic mechanics and experience in machine tool.
• General experience in assembly prints.
• General knowledge in machining; Blueprint Reading; Basic MIG Welding.
• General knowledge with regards to general build practices; Understanding of build specifications (i.e., threading, dowel length, etc.).
• Knowledge of overhead cranes, Hi-lo, Pallet Jack and other related equipment required to perform the job function.
• Knowledge of safety precautions in the Manufacturing environment.
