JOB SUMMARY
Industrial Engineering Manager will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing; integrated, productions and service delivery systems that assure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence and cost control within the production site. The Industrial Engineering Manager will adopt as its goals profitability, effectiveness, adaptability, responsiveness, quality, and the continuous improvement of products and services throughout their life cycles.
· Establish and clearly communicate all global and regional Industrial Engineering strategies to the Industrial Engineering Department
· Coach, mentor and train all engineers with the Industrial Engineering Department

· Report and drive improvement within the site through the monitoring of the key Industrial Engineering metrics

· Insure the standardization of Jabil processes throughout the site in accordance with the global and regional direction
· Standardize the configuration of the systems used (e.g. SAP, MES, IEDB…)
· Develop and maintain site key process flow charts
· Develop, analyze and maintain accurate department forecast based on both historical and forecast data
· Support the Lean organization by developing a solid process foundation and data integrity in order to support process improvement through the organization

What will you do?
As the Site Reliability Technician, you will provide the first line response to production issues including but not limited to outages, end user performance, change management, monitoring, improving the efficiency and usability of production test infrastructure and applications, and ensuring all site test infrastructure software and hardware is maintained with the latest updates to ensure high levels of performance and reliability.

Sustaining support and maintenance for the manufacturing server (L10) and rack (L11-L12) level test software and infrastructure deployed at our production facilities.
Support the site’s manufacturing server (L10) and rack (L11-L12) current test infrastructure as well as future expansion planning, deployments, and assembly.
Maintain manufacturing server (L10) and rack (L11-L12) test infrastructure documentation of installations, upgrades, and management.
Communicate manufacturing test infrastructure enhancements while providing insights based on site operations and uptime challenges.
Support manufacturing test incident response, analysis, and corrective actions for the site operations.
Participate in closed loop analysis/responses to factory test failures.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on the test infrastructure, including MDF, IDF, and SUT TORs

Work Environment Assignments aboard surface combatants such as aircraft carriers, Aegis cruisers and destroyers, and amphibious ships, as well as at shore based repair and technical facilities; daily work in combat systems spaces, radar rooms, communications centers, electronics shops, and shipboard network spaces; a mix of lab style environments and shipboard spaces with noise, ladders, confined areas, and occasional exposure to heat or weather when working on topside equipment.
Pathways, Training & Advancement Recruit Training followed by Apprentice Technical Training at Great Lakes, Illinois, covering basic electronics, circuitry, safety, digital theory, microcomputers, fiber optics, test equipment, and troubleshooting; strand training in either the Fire Controlman or Electronics Technician track, with FCs focusing on radar, ballistics, and fire control basics, and ETs focusing on communications suites and radar systems; follow on A School and platform or system specific C Schools, often with college credit recommended by the American Council on Education; accelerated advancement to E4 upon completion of initial school training and all advancement requirements, with continued promotion based on performance, time in rate, and professional development.
Enlist under the Advanced Electronics and Computer Field program, with final placement into the Electronics Technician or Fire Controlman rating during initial training at Great Lakes, based on performance and Navy needs; maintain AECF eligibility throughout training in order to retain any accelerated advancement benefits; fleet conversion into ET or FC from another rating may be possible for qualified Sailors, subject to screening and community manning.
