  The Division of Gastroenterology at Mount Sinai has 10 physician faculty members at the hospital, including general GI, advanced interventionalists, mobility, IBD and hepatology experts. In addition, there are full time GI faculty at Mount Sinai Doctors Practices across Nassau and Suffolk Counties, and there are many voluntary GI physicians closely affiliated with the hospital and our endoscopic services. 8. Supervision and evaluation of faculty and staff members at the primary teaching institutions as well as additional institutions/private practices that may participate in the residency program..

9. Gathering and reporting complete and accurate information as requested by the accrediting, licensure, certification and funding agencies. 

10. Assuring compliance with institutional and accrediting agency requirements and appropriate notification of major programmatic changes and obtaining approval from GMEC prior to their implementation.

Mount Sinai Services at NYC Health+Hospitals/Queens is seeking a fellowship-trained Complex General Surgical Oncologist to join our Queens Cancer Center. This Center of Excellence is a state-of the-art comprehensive cancer center and is the only established cancer center in the NYC Health+Hospitals System. The qualified candidate will join another HPB/Surgical Oncologist along with a team of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, gynecologic oncologists, urologic oncologists and breast surgeons. The NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is looking for a board certified/board eligible OB/GYN to join our growing OB/GYN Hospitalist team in Flushing, Queens.

The Division of Neurology is currently comprised of eight faculty Neurologists who work to achieve the hospital’s Joint Commission’s gold seal of approval for disease-specific care for primary stroke, AHA Gold Plus Stroke Center and partial thrombectomy capable interventional services, in the setting of a very active neurosurgical service, state of the art neurological imaging studies and epilepsy platform, and a full-service tertiary care hospital. New York City Health + Hospitals|Elmhurst affiliated with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a part time Physiatrist in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. The Physiatrist will primarily run general rehab outpatient clinics.

The candidate will be responsible for running the outpatient rehabilitation clinics. The applicant will perform inpatient consultations and oversee adult bedside consultations as needed. Weekend calls to cover consultations one Saturday a month.

Candidates must have an MD or DO degree and be Board Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number.
