Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, NY is currently seeking full-time qualified board-certified stroke neurologist to serve as Director of Stroke and Vascular Neurology.
The selected candidate must have excellent clinical skills with an interest in outpatient and inpatient stroke care, a track record of clinical and/or translational research, as well as strong leadership skills. The selected candidate will be expected to provide equal effort in clinical care, and in leadership of the Division.The Division of Neurology is currently comprised of eight faculty Neurologists who work to achieve the hospital’s Joint Commission’s gold seal of approval for disease-specific care for primary stroke, AHA Gold Plus Stroke Center and partial thrombectomy capable interventional services, in the setting of a very active neurosurgical service, state of the art neurological imaging studies and epilepsy platform, and a full-service tertiary care hospital. We are in the process of building a full comprehensive thrombectomy capable Stroke Center and Neurology Service and are looking to recruit full-time faculty to expand the Division’s services.

New York City Health + Hospitals|Elmhurst affiliated with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a part time Physiatrist in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. The Physiatrist will primarily run general rehab outpatient clinics.
The candidate will be responsible for running the outpatient rehabilitation clinics. The applicant will perform inpatient consultations and oversee adult bedside consultations as needed. Weekend calls to cover consultations one Saturday a month.
Candidates must have an MD or DO degree and be Board Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number.

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with New York City H+H Elmhurst is seeking a Physician (BC/BE) in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine to join its full -time faculty and participate in both inpatient and outpatient care areas. Responsibilities include rotations in MICU, Progressive Care Unit, pulmonary and critical care consults, procedures and PFT interpretation. Familiarity with pigtail catheters, indwelling pleural catheters, EBUS, pleural biopsies, percutaneous tracheostomies and intubations is preferred but not required.
