In this role, thePediatric Urgent Care Physician / PEMwill be responsible forevaluating and providing evidence-based treatment to pediatric urgent care patients in both in-person and telemedicine settings.
About the Opportunity: Setting: Private Practice Hours: 12pm to 12am or 10am to 10pm (3 to 4 weekends shifts a month) Responsibilities: ThePediatric Urgent Care Physician / PEM will: Assess and treat acute injury and illness for both in-person and telemedicine patients,includinganaphylaxis, procedural anxiolysis, respiratory distress, croup, and asthma Perform procedural care, including abscess drainage, foreign body removal, and laceration repair with sutures, staples, and dermal adhesive Takeradiographs and providing preliminary interpretation of x-rays with official radiology over-reads (only in applicable states) Oversee in-person and telemedicine patient flow and daily functions of the office along with oversight of other providers, staff, and trainees on shift Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: Licensed to practice medicine in the State of California Board Eligible / Certified in Pediatrics Emergency Department and/or Urgent Care background Your privacy is important to us.
