This program offers up to $10,000/year in tuition support, covering 1 year of prerequisites and 2 years of the Nursing program. It is designed to support a smooth transition into professional practice after graduation and provides direct career pathway opportunities within Mercy.
Eligibility Criteria:
Enrolled in nursing prerequisites, or actively enrolled in a nursing program at a participating school (RN & LPN)

Overview
Supports and assists the Pharmacist in the preparation, distribution, and inventory control of medication and performs other duties as necessary for the provision of patient-focused pharmacy services. Assists with training of pharmacy technicians, has been trained and is a resource person for specialty area and has an active role in improving workflow. The Pharmacist will check all medications and preparations before they are dispensed. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications
Education: Must be enrolled or entering a College of Pharmacy.
Licensure: Requires valid Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern license per state in to be registered with State Board of Pharmacy in the state of practice and in good standing.
