Role Description

This role combines estimating and project management responsibilities for earthwork, utilities, site concrete, and demolition projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in civil construction, can lead projects from bid to completion, and thrives in a fast-paced, field-oriented environment. 


Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead bidding processes, including subcontractor negotiations and vendor pricing

• Review plans/specs and perform detailed takeoffs 

• Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and competitive bids 

• Oversee project execution to ensure alignment with budget, schedule, and scope

• Schedule and coordinate all phases of construction 

• Maintain documentation and ensure project goals are met

• Track financial performance and report on budget variances and cost-saving opportunities

• Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support project success and overall company initiatives.


Qualifications

• 5+ years in civil construction (earthwork, water, sewer, storm) 

• Ability to read blueprints and develop accurate estimates 

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Agtek, 3D Modeling, HCSS Heavy Job/Heavy Bid, and Microsoft Office 

• Familiarity with local subcontractors and able to source and vet new partners 

• Strong work ethic and organizational skills 

• Driver's license required; bilingual a plus 

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
