The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Real Time Embedded Software Engineer to join our Instrumentation and Data Systems (I&DS) team located in Seattle, Washington. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) organization.

Join us to build the next generation of data acquisition and processing systems used across Boeing’s Lab Test facilities. As a member of the I&DS development team, you will develop and maintain software and hardware platforms for acquiring, processing, storing, and visualizing high-volume sensor and time-series data.  The systems you deliver will feed critical test results from wind tunnels, test stands, and other facilities into engineering workflows, enabling data‑driven decisions that validate and improve aircraft designs.

You will work on a high autonomy team with end-to-end ownership: design, implement, and ship features from prototype to production; make architectural and technology choices that shape product direction; and engage directly with customers and stakeholders. BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level and Senior level Real-Time Embedded Software Engineer.

Position Responsibilities Include:

• Work with a team of engineers to design, architect, develop, and support real-time data management solutions for storing, streaming, processing, and visualizing high-throughput sensor data

• Deliver solutions that span the entire software development lifecycle, from design to production, and multiple deployment paradigms including CLI tools, native (Windows), and web applications

• Interface with data acquisition hardware (transducers, DAQ devices) to pull and process data

• Design and implement intuitive user experiences for data visualization and analysis

• Build clean, well-tested APIs and streaming pipelines for high-throughput time-series data

• Collaborate directly with customers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentorship, architecture design, and operational best practices

• Build and maintain deployment, CI/CD, observability, and database infrastructure

• Help define team culture, standards, and processes

• Help define product roadmap and priorities

 Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 2+ years of experience with C/C++ software for real-time embedded systems

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Principal Program Manager will be a key member of Parametric's growing and dynamic Project Management Office. This role will work across multiple business teams and interface with technology while being chiefly responsible for structuring, planning, and executing high visibility and high priority strategic enterprise initiatives. This person will manage both programs and individual projects to drive the delivery of our corporate strategy.

As Principal Program Manager, you will play a critical role in leading large complex programs to deliver firm-wide strategic objectives by implementing business and technology solutions along with measuring the impact of these solutions. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple projects within the program, ensuring they align with the overall strategic objectives by developing implementation plans, tracking progress and risks, clearing roadblocks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve desired business outcomes; essentially acting as a bridge between strategic planning and project execution. • PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, and/or CSM certification strongly preferred.
• Proven ability as liaison between technical teams and business visionaries - not a "go between" but rather facilitator and someone who can capture the vision from both points of view into a cohesive roadmap and implementation plan.

Salary range for the position: $115,000 - $225,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component. The Principal Data Engineer will serve as a technical lead on new and ongoing development projects, designing, developing, and maintaining services to support various business needs. In this role you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a team of data engineers helping them to achieve their highest potential while collectively advancing the goals and projects of the engineering team.

The Principal Data Engineer is responsible for the design, structure, and maintenance of data projects ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of data relevant to an organization or a project. In this role the Principal Data Engineer needs to be able to take business requirements and design and architecture end to end that fully supports the business needs. The PrincipLData engineer needs to be an expert in writing and optimizing SQL queries. They need to be able to document ideas and proposals which will include creating ER diagrams and architectural documents that document the transformation of data throughout its lifecycle.

A successful Principal Data Engineer must possess superior analytical skills and be detail-oriented. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively as part of a larger team within the information technology department. • 3+ years of experience with Snowflake
• 4+ years of experience in AWS (or similar cloud technologies) cloud stack including S3, IAM, Athena, SNS, SQS, and EMR.
• 6+ years of SQL Server and experience with tools such as SSIS and SSRS

The Principal, ITSO Enablement will own the strategy, execution, and governance of ITSO enablement, including application integration across Parametric, Investment Management technology landscape.
