Additionally, the Bench Hand will:
- Complete a variety of metal finishing processes following detailed instructions in order to achieve the desired outcome as outlined in work plannings.
- Set up and operate various manufacturing process equipment (heat treat ovens, precision cleaning, broaching, polishing, and gear checking machines).
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, tool marks and other irregularities from machined parts to ensure they are in accordance with engineering blueprints, and tolerance requirements.
- Complete inspection and/or test related activities to ensure that parts are machined in accordance with manufacturing standards and blueprint specifications.
- Utilize files, grinders, scotch brite, fiber wheels, drills, and other hand tools for metal finishing and assembly.
- Maintain proper identification of parts per planning specifications and ensure that accurate and reliable records and documentation are maintained.
- Clean, organize and maintain cellular manufacturing work area in accordance with established standards.
- Strive to accomplish team goals and enhance the quality of parts through the reduction of scrap and improvement of throughput.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School or GED required
- 2+ years of experience manufacturing small parts completing the following processes: bench assembly, machining, deburring, cleaning, grit blasting, and parts identification.
- Experience in a precision manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Must be able to read, understand and correctly interpret basic blueprint drawings and follow planning instructions.
- Familiar with GD&T specifications and capable of performing basic inspections based on engineering drawings.
- Ability to use common measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gauges (pin, thread, indicator, height), optical comparators etc.
- Attention to detail, ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
- Demonstrates strong organizational and collaborative skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).

A Relief Driver CDL (A) is responsible for safely operating a heavy commercial truck, a tractor trailer or a straight truck with a pup trailer, or other vehicle requiring a class A CDL, to provide prompt and courteous delivery and removal of large containers. In the Patient Care Manager RN Hybrid role, you are responsible for the supervision and coordination of clinical services and provide and direct provisions of nursing care to patients in their homes as prescribed by the physician. Primary Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Job Summary Builds relationships with Financial Advisors and internal partners.
Develops the skills necessary to successfully underwrite Life, Disability, and/or Long-term Care insurance policies in an inclusive and fast-paced environment ensuring all quality, service and production goals are met.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Field & Client Experience ​Responsible for credible and effective relations and communication with field and customer to include responding to case appeals/inquiries and assists with placing business.
Provides guidance and assistance to the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and Financial Representatives regarding case underwriting and risk appraisal Responsible for prescreen inquiries.
Underwriting Responsible for the analysis and appraisal of a broad range of insurance applications; approves, classifies, or declines applications for various ages and policy amounts with guidance, as needed.​ Independently reviews applications and adheres to underwriting standards and demonstrates an intermediate level of experience with NM product types and changes.
​ Develops and demonstrates change agility while maintaining mortality and morbidity expectations.
​ Demonstrates continuous learning through the early adoption of new ways of underwriting.
​ Develops proficiency with Reinsurance programs and determining where to best place a case.
Underwrites applications, maintaining industry-leading mortality and morbidity giving the best possible offer that can be made.
Provides active case and requirement management and provides customized service with guidance.
​ Communicates & negotiates with Field Partners to explain modified or declined decisions & assist in policy placement.
​ Develops proficiency in financial, medical, and lay underwriting assessments and provides innovations solutions to keep Northwestern Mutual as the choice of our customers.
Actively utilizes the most effective means to obtain the necessary information, including digital health data, Internet searches, direct contact with the insured, and communication with third party advisors (Accountants, Attorneys, etc.) with limited guidance.
Discusses cases with peer reviewers with medical and technical staff, as needed.
​ Understands and meets all quality, service, and production goals​.
Solves issues & escalations, with guidance as needed.
​ Partners with Underwriting Support for case management Cross-functional leadership May serve as underwriting representative for improvement in product process w/collaboration w/functional partners.
​Participates in other projects as needed.
Qualifications A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
1.5 years of traditional underwriting experience.
Analytical skills with the ability to make independent decisions and apply sound judgment in the application of rules.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information, and exercise tact, diplomacy, and resourcefulness.
Proficient in computer skills and using various software packages.
Ability to work accurately while maintaining speed and flexibility in a team and independent production environment.
Highly organized with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
Displays agility to manage multiple tasks​ and adapt in a changing work environment.
