Summary & Work Performed
Supervise clinical operations of specific areas of the Imaging Department including, but not limited to: equipment, personnel, scheduling, financial and customer service functions.
- Supervise and participate in complex technical activities associated with the operation of modality-specific equipment in specific areas of the Imaging Department in accordance with prescribed safety procedures.
- Plan and schedule work forthe assigned unit ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate staffing, space and facilities for subsequent performance of duties.
- Schedule patients for imaging examinations; set up and explain imaging procedures; position patients for each anatomical view specified using positioning assistance devices and protective equipment as required; report any changes in patient's condition to attending physician.
- Perform limited evaluation of imaging examinations in order to determine the need for additional projections.
- Assist in the formulation and revision of technique charts and/or protocols to maintain established standards of image quality and/or maintenance of ALARA.
- Review and compile as needed statistical reports and analyses reflecting operational activities.
- Provide technical assistance, instruction and consultation to students and employees.
- Recommend various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, transfers, and vacation schedules.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Education
- Work requires required registry/certification in applicable imaging modality - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registry or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB).
Experience
- Four years of experience in an imaging modality (Radiologic Tech, MR, CT, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, Interventional Radiology) is required.
- Two years of team leader or applicable supervisory experience is preferred.
Degrees, Licensures, Certifications
- Certification as prescribed by ARRT, ARDMS/CCI, and/or NMTCB.
- BLS certification

Summary & Work Performed
- Perform a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
- Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic radiographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.
- Position patients, using immobilization when necessary.
- Calculate exposure factors, assist physicians.
- Perform the quality control functions related to mammography.
- Evaluate radiographs for dia gnostic quality obtaining additional images as needed.
- Prepare and set up medical supplies using aseptic techniques if appropriate.
- Explain procedu res to patients.Charge mammographic procedures and supplies in Maestro or EPIC.
- Provide orientation to new Mammographers and provide education and training to student Mammographers.
- Assist in maintenance and compilation of statistical data.
- Demonstrate proficiency in performing all breast imaging procedures, to include breast interventional procedures.
- Monitor mammography section procedures and supply charges to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work therein.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Minimum Qualifications &Education
- Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification or currently holds required registry or certification.
- Technologists initially qualifying on or after April 28, 1999, must meet the Mammo-Specific requirements by having at least 40 hours of documented training in mammography.
Experience & Level Characteristics
Level I -
- Must obtain ARRT certification at time of employment.
- Performance of a minimum of 25 mammography exams under direct supervision of an appropriate MQSA qualified individual.
- At least 8 hours of training in using any modality (e.g., digital) before beginning to use that modality independently.
Level II -
- Minimum of two years' experience as a Mammography technologist.
- Must perform at least 200 mammography examinations in a 24 month period.
Level III -
- A minimum of 4 years' experience within specialty modality inwhich they are seeking promotion
Degrees, Licensures, Certifications
- ARRT certification in radiography ARRT advanced certification in mammography FDA/MQSA qualified to include meeting the MQSA CE requirements of at least 15 CEUs in a 36 month period that must include at least 6 CEUs ineach mammographic modality used.
- BLS certification

Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Fire Sprinkler Designer. Based primarily in our Cornelius, NC office, the role offers the flexibility of working from home for part of the time. The Fire Sprinkler Designer will be responsible for creating sprinkler system designs in compliance with industry standards and regulations, collaborating with project managers, conducting hydraulic calculations, preparing shop drawings for review and approval, and coordinating with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution. Additional duties include maintaining accurate documentation and staying up-to-date with local fire protection codes and standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in sprinkler system design, including experience with AutoCAD and AutoSprink software
- Knowledge of hydraulic calculations and fire protection standards
- Strong understanding of local, state, and national fire codes and regulations
- Effective collaboration and communication skills for working with project managers, contractors, and clients
- Organizational skills for managing documentation and project details accurately
- Ability to work both independently and in a hybrid environment
- NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) certification in fire protection is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred
